Do guys feel pressure to ask a girl that they like out?

Especially shy guys, but guys in general. Do they feel pressure to ask the girl out that they like? If they do does that help give them the courage to go ahead and do it? Are they likely to wait a long time like until the last possible moment before they ask her out? Also if their friends know will they keep pushing him to ask her out?

When a guy has any amount of feelings for a lady (aka he "likes" her) then there is definately going to be pressure in asking her out. This pressure comes from the fact that if he asks and she declines it is considered "rejection" no one in this entire world wants to be rejected.

(its a natural human-instinct to want to be accepted)

The pressure the guy feels will be enough to make him wait until he feels the right time, that could be later today or it could be the next time you two hang out and have fun. Even then, there is no "sure" gaurantee that he can gain the courage to ask you out (referring to shy guys)

Friends normally don't have a contributing factor in pressure because guys don't like to talk about how they like girls (in this day and age, you are considered "not a man" if you seek approval (which is a highschool stereotypical lie)

Yes, guys feel pressure to ask the girl out they like. No, it does not help give them courage to go ahead and do it because they will look for the perfect scenario to ask them out which might never come and they will constantly think about what they are going to say to the girl and imagining her responses and then continually changing the way you are going to ask her out. So, you keep putting it till later and sometimes to the last possible moment and sometimes thinking oh well I lost my chance and never ask her out. No, friends do not factor into a guy asking a girl out imo.

i think so because imagine a boy seeing and trying to put up all of his courage to ask this grl out he likes a lot,if I wer that boy id explode you have to remember boys can get sooo nervous round girls they like and can just be afraid but try to approach that person say hey I'm free this friday I mean if you wanna ask me somthin.. good luck !

I know my friends bugged the sh*t out of me when I was crushing on ther girl that I'm going out with now. lol, so I got the courage because I was just that annoyed. But, say I didn't tell any of my friends, it could have been a bit longer before I did get the courage. Anyways, I waited three months, which may seem like a very long time, but I know guys that have liked girls for like 6 months and haven't still asked her out.

The answer to all those questions can vary, but yes, guys do feel pressure to ask out the girl like - both from themselves inside their own heads, and from friends and other people "in the know". Depending on how confident they are, they can ask out the girl immediately or wait a long time to get the necessary courage - or sometimes, not at all.
