This girl I like at work has a boyfriend and every time we run into each other or I pass by her, I noticed she avoids eye contact, but I don't know what this means. Something to mention is that she doesn't look up or down, she always looks to the side, and she only turns the eyes without turning the head, she either keeps walking, sometimes faster, or if she is behind a desk, she gets distracted; but I also noticed she looks at me from the distance when I'm not looking at her, but this happens rarely, most of the time she doesn't show me too much attention. Sometimes I would day hi to her and she would say hi back, but without eye contact at all, it's very weird. What do you think this is?

Okay, I know this seems to be an odd question, but seeing I may be going on a first date in the near future, and I am a bodyguard, as well as an NRA certified Concealed weapons instructor now... I wanted my first date to be cool. I wanted to take her to A gun range... Of course after we have a lunch thing or whatnot... Is this a good Idea?

I only ask, because I go to the gun range a lot. Pretty expensive habit (I spend at least $80 every time I go to practice, and I go at least twice a week...), but it is not just a habit, or a hobby... It is also a requirement of my Job. No, I am not going to be dating her while on duty... But, because of the fact that she should know how, and perhaps so that it does not weird her out as much... I was thinking of taking her and about maybe 5 or 6 different pistols to the range and let her try them out. besides, the next time, we can do whatever it is she likes doing...

Girls have you ever approached a guy and had him reject you? I am not talking about being dumped. I am talking about when you first meet a guy, you put yourself out there and ask him out and he shoots you down.

I have this theory. Most girls seem to think they understand men, I think they don't understand men at all. The reason? Men are expected to do most of the approaching.

I think most girls have never really approached a guy, and if they have, they usually do not get rejected because the guy is flattered.

Because of this women, never really understand rejection, or fear of rejection and do not realize how much skill and effort it takes for guys to get good at approaching.

I have always said that a lot of guys get rejected the first few times the approach a girl when they are 12 or 13, and they are shocked by how much they get hurt, women do not have this experience as part of growing up. It is much safer to "wait for him to make the first move" than risk getting hurt by putting yourself out there.

Am I right or am I wrong?

So there's this girl I like and I don't want to text her too much. Don't want to scare her off.

I initiate most of the texts but she usually sends long detailed responses about her day and other things going on in her life. she also asks questions some times.

I just don't know if she's being nice.

Today for example, we texted pretty much all day but I started the convos for the most part and got detailed responses.

I put this in flirting because "dating" hasn't come up yet...

anyways this girl I know, she's attracted to me, I'm attracted to her...we talk, daily for the most part...she'll call me 3-4x a week before she goes to bed, especially if I haven't really talked to her all day. We talk about hanging out, yet I've tried to make 2-3 plans to hang out 1v1 and its either she wants to bring her friend along or she forgot and has plans...for example I get half days on fridays, so I asked when she worked...she said 11-2 then 4-9. I was like hey so let me take you out to java's on east ave for a quick lunch(this was Thursday morning). Thursday night I get a text, oh hey I just forgot until now I have plans I completely forgot lets plan for next friday!? :) well since this wasn't the first time soemthing weird like that has happened I assumed it was just a way to get out of the 1v1 thing. Its so confusing, I just don't get it...its like we are "phone dating" but she won't let me take her out for something quick. I told her I really just wanted to get to know her better and see what sehs about. she said that we can do it soon and then that's when "next friday" came up - no not the movie lol. she'll also post FB pics and ask me how I feel about them and if she's attractive and looks for my "approval" on certain things.

Am I reading the signs wrong here...do you think she's into me? we havn'et hooked up yet, she's always told me she's wanted to, should I just go for it and kiss her lol? We see each other every weekend at teh bar... Am I approaching the situation the wrong way. I wanted to do it as "ok I'm going to do this with you", like I'm taking charge and trying to make something happen, being a man and having confidence...even if it is only one time and I realize eh she's not what it hought...what can I do, what am I doing wrong? .is she just into me for attention? I don't know I'm just really confused and could use some advice.

i'd prefer written advice rather than the poll. Really just looking for the next step, what you think my options are and how to approach the situation.
