Can a girl and a guy cuddle without starting to like each other?

i think, that when you want to cuddle somebody, then it means that you already like him/her on some kind of physical level. and when you have cuddled him/her, then afterwords you may even feel more connected with that person.

for example, I wouldn't like to cuddle one of my best friends, cause I'm not attracted to him and I don't like, when he hugs me that often..

yeah, I think it's hard not to like the person. I don't know my best friend and I liked each other and we used to cuddle all the time. we stopped liking each other but I still want to cuddle! I don't know if that's wrong or not!

I used to think I didn't have feelings for my ex, but then we kind of... spooned a little? And all of those old feelings came rushing back. That's a different scenario, though.

I think it depends on the guy or girl. There is only one guy that I'm friends with that I know we could cuddle and still just be friends. However, he falls easily for other girls and I fall easily for other guys.

I wouldn't cuddle with someone I wasn't interested in on some level. Even if I wasn't looking for a relationship or sex or anything it would still probably mean I was attracted to her.

I don't know if he's actually attracted to everyone he cuddles with, but at the very least he probably doesn't find them unattractive. Is he normally really? If he cuddles with everyone then maybe he's just that really outgoing type of person.

He never came off as the player type. he's played like ONE girl before and I think it was on accident? he didn't want to make her feel bad so he played along like he liked her. he also wanted a girlfriend so I think he just liked the idea too. well, I don't think they ever kissed. I think he stopped there. They just cuddled and stayed up all night telling stories and had play fights and I don't know gave each other massages. They never kissed though. I think they almost did and he was like no... but you can kiss me. Do you really think he sounds like a jerk or just immature? That's so sad! I'm his friend, what do I tell him!?

One on one. I know one guy kinda liked me, and we were both a little tipsy so we just ended up spooning, but nothing big happened. The other time we were both like...hey we like spooning and its late and I am tired, so I just stayed over and we cuddled. No big deal, at least from my side of it. I think if the guys wanted to make something of it, they had plenty of chances to act.
