Will a guy cuddle with a girl if he has no feelings?

So I met a guy 4 months ago. If I'm completely honest it was a relationship based on sex. The sex was amazing. He text me most days, cooked me dinner. I always spent the night with him and he cuddled me all night. When he was on holiday he was texting. Although it was nothing serious things were going well, until one night we went out drinking with his friend. I think his friend was flirting with me, he put my guy down a lot about his low paid job, inability to handle his drink, he can't drive etc and he even gave me a present. My guy didn't seem bothered by any of it but the next day he turned really cold with me didn't even offer me a drink in the morning before we left for work together and I've not heard from him since. I don't think he was jealous of his friend flirting with me do you think it just made him realise he doesn't have feelings for me? I'm definitely not going to contact him it was just he was so affectionate with me. do guys cuddle girls all night if they have no feelings?

Sounds like my relationship that started two years ago. With me, he never cuddled me or even kissed me because we agreed it was f buddies only. Yours started fast into what a bf/gf would do. i think he realized his friend is right and he has no right to get jealous because you are not his girlfriend. If you like him as more than a friend with benefits let him know and ask what he thinks. It's better to ask directly and never assume! Each guy is different though

Also some guys cuddle and text to keep you around because that's what we girls like. If you are ready to be with someone as a girlfriend and he's not move on.

Thanks for your reply. I don't think he was looking for anything serious I just feel hurt how he changed toward me literally overnight. Perhaps he sensed I was developing feelings and it turned him off. I don't know. I think he's probably gone though 😔

you'll find someone better when you least expect it! Try not to be hurt and do things that make you happy so you can move on quicker. Also, things don't change so quickly especially over night. He never wanted anything serious (guys are more known for this & act like a boyfriend to keep you because if he acted like a jerk to you, you wouldn't continue to see him.)

I was hurt last month too because I thought my boyfriend (the one that started like your relationship but later turned into a bf/gf thing because he wanted it to. I never asked and I was okay with just being f--- buddies.) He hurt me because I thought we were serious (he talked about babies and living together) but it turns out he had another girlfriend that SOB. I guess guys only say and do things to keep girls around to have something to screw.

For future reference, don't give up sex so fast. Be courted by a gentleman and see where it goes. Good luck!

You're welcome and thanks! Gonna need all the luck I can get. Yes, shut off emotionally. I was like that but I gave him an opportunity. He made me think it was a serious relationship. Turns out it wasn't cause he was always fooling around so I am back to being emotionally shut down. My friend said she is going to do the same because boys nowadays are all fuck boys that just want a toy.

In my opinion cuddling is all about emotional closeness, it doesn't have anything to do with physical pleasure. Although I've often found most other men a to be mystery, I would have to say that cuddling comes after feeling develop​. Perhaps you both aren't understanding each other very well. Maybe he was disappointed that you didn't shut down his friend's advances.
