Is it normal for girls to cuddle their guy friends or do they want to be more than friends?

My best friend of the opposite sex who I have a crush on invited me over to her house to watch a movie and relax. This is nothin g new as we’ve done this countless times. However this time it wasn’t on the crunch and we watched in her bed (normally I sleep in the guess room). Well she ended up cuddling with me and resting her head on my chest and asked me to scratch her head and then she was asleep. I’m not sure if this is normal for friends and my thing is she knows I like her too because I told her a while back. She is also in a current relationship but she identifies as lesbian and to me it seems like their relationship is going to end soon. I’m also 18 and she is 26. I didn’t mind her sleeping and finding comfort in me I’m just wondering if this is a sign of feelings as friends or romantically.

If you understand that you are like Brother/Sister friends, it's OK and I have had a few female friends, like that. Not sexual, but very close, and 'cuddling' and sometimes I need to turn, and she knows it isn't because I want something, but just a biological thing, and she laughs, and maybe likes it, like I am maybe that guy, like a fire extinguisher, in a glass case, that she might be able to have, in a sexual emergency, when she is emotional and desperate. . .

Personally, I don't just casually cuddle a guy "friend" if they are just friends, I wouldn't. I only cuddle with guys when I am romantically attracted to them, but it differs from different girls.

I wouldn't mind cuddling my bestie. But looks like she might have some feelings for you... but again she might not.
