with how often people use the word "racist" and the way they use it the word is losing it's meaning
Never considered ms buttersworth or uncle Ben's ready rice as racist. I always considered their origins to just be successful black owned buisness that eventually got bought out by rich white people.
Only a completely retarded person would ask such a question. Only a person of one race could be racist to a person of another race. Food is food , not a person.
When everything is raciss' nothing is, and then we take our country back.
I think they are trying to make it less racist but I did not think it was a problem before
Agreed lol
Ironic that they complain so much about "representation for minorities" only to remove all examples of it and leave all the white people behind. That's the gentle racism of "anti-racists" for you.
You may extinguish racism.
But will you extinguish greed and opportunism?
Sounds like brand-named foods are a bit racist, but not much on generic foods. The real food has dirt, not labels.
How can food be racist? How can pictures be racist? Racism is found in the minds of people not is objects...
It was never racist in the first place it’s food people are making it racist bc they have nothing else to do
Nope and honestly food is food plus that’s probably why half of these things don’t taste as good because they took the soul out of it 🥲
It's not racist. People with nothin better to do are making a big deal out of nothing
Not really, no. . .
Because food was never really racist to begin with. It's tough to become less racist than "not racist."
I am so confused! Minorities bitch about not having enough representation in media , but they go and bitch about being represented on food? I'm beginning to think they just love to bitch
I never even noticed or even made a connection to food been racist. I think the only racists here are the people that notice such things and label it racist
aunt jemima was based on a real woman named nancy green, i find it racist to change the name just because it offends liberal arts majors that are most likely upper middle class white kids anyways.
No, it's just becoming more politically correct and woke. There is a big difference.
The first time I went to Popeyes and the chicken didn't call me a "honky," I cried with happiness.
white and brown rice though, dude. And Brown sugar? black coffee? orange juice? black berries? Seriously, everything about food is about color and is thereby racist and I'm triggered
No. More racist actually. They can't stand to see non whites so they have to censor their images.
