Sounds absolutely too die for. Unfortunately, I'm stuck with cold cuts and nuked food options until my Slu- --rd landlord receives his summons for appearance in civil court too explain why several of us tenants are being denied hot water, stove, and heat if the temperature drops, as well as all the other lifestyle conveniences gas utilities have too offer. I've lived without electricity and heat before but I still had my gas, my stove so I could still cook and take hot baths... But yesterday was Thanksgiving up here in the great white north, so I cooked. Nothing fancy, baked salmon steaķs with parsley and lemon. Roasted pumpkin and peppers, broccoli, mashed potatoes and mushrooms in a white wine sauce and apple crumble for dessert

Sunday mornings I get out that big cast iron skillet that I keep stashed away cause people now days have no clue on proper cast iron care and cook up a batch of potatoes ell pepper onions. Just kind of invented my own. I make a dish somewhat like an omelette with the eggplant, and non-fat cheese. It is pretty good!

Other times during the day I have tried a battered type eggplant fried in olive oil. A bit too oily though. Definitely not low-cal... LOL

Purple potatoes are very similar to yukon gold potatoes in taste, and are also like yukon hold are a medium moisture and medium starch variety. The texture varies from smooth to very grainy depending on the variety of purple potatoes. I hope that helps! As you say you will soon find out.

Not this time, I was working with slim pickings till get too store so just used a basic recipe found online, and doctored it up, so just broccoli potatoes seasoning water simmered then pureed in blender and put back to simmer and added cheese... Was good but yeah next time will be better when have more ingredients on hand...

Sometimes I do, yesterday I didn't and for the gravy, used the juices from the slow cooker to make the gravy... It was very good

I will cut the meat into chunks and sear it. At the same time, stack potatoes, carrots, celery, onion and meat. On top of that I pour one packet of Lipton Recipe Secrets " garlic and herb" soup mix and 1 cup of water.

Yeah they're supposed to be.. That's really why I bought them and then didn't even have to chop em... Just washed em and threw em in slow cooker with the roast and baby carrots, so only thing had to slice was the onion... Easy but great meal, 👍
