I have a nostalgic fondness most for tuna casserole which my mother made so often that I hated it so much as a child. She'd make a massive amount of tuna casserole and I'd eat it for lunch and dinner three+ days in a row.

... and yet it has become my favorite, perhaps through sheer exposure.
Also like a Shepherd's Pie with lamb and mashed potato inside.
Shephards pie with ground beef sounds yummy
I think they call that version "Cottage Pie" in the UK. I love it with lamb cause it's a type of meat I don't get to eat very often.
I tried lamb once and it tasted like roadkill. And it was a beautiful plate from an expensive ass restaurant but smelled horrible
I think I like that kind of taste. I think people call it "gamey" but I never minded it. I also love liver, for example.
I like meatloaf but never tried liver. Whats it taste like
It has a very strong iron taste since it has like 250%+ our daily requirements in heme iron. It tastes kind of like blood. It's quite an acquired taste but it tends to be the most nutritious part of the animal since so many vitamins and minerals are absorbed there. I like to cook it with a heavy dose of caramelized onions which masks some of the flavor.
Oh hell nawl 😭
I actually want to try to make it for you now with a challenge to make it tasty! it has a mushy texture which is probably off-putting to many people. It's pretty much the ultimate superfood though in my opinion. There's nothing else that comes close to offering such an abundance and variety of micronutrients in a single ingredient. Even kale comes nowhere close.
That casserole sounds soooooo good! I'm going to look up the recipe.
I really like casseroles.
One of my comfort foods is tuna noodle casserole. Yep, my mom used to make it.
My wife is indifferent and the thought of it makes my sister want to puke. But I always enjoy it.
Im just like your sis 🤣 I had no idea it was popular til almost everyone said it in this post
I've only tried shepherd's pie once or twice :,) and loved it so I can't base off of that. Creamed Corn casserole is my favorite... I wanna try the vegan one, but instead of almond milk, I'd use coconut... coconut milk is the best.
My grandma makes some good creamed corn
Tuna casserole. I also make a green cabbage casserole type dish. It's a little spicy with cayenne pepper.
I dont think i like casserole anymore 😂
LOL! Tuna is so yummy! My husband won't eat it either.
Im not a seafood fan unless its shrimp or crawfish

That sounds good
I like making cobbler, using beef, vegetables and Guinness with cheese dumplings
I also like beef bourguignon featuring beef, onions, diced bacon and a bottle of red wine among its ingredients
Oh wow i always thought cobbler was just jelloish lookin stuff
Would lasagna be considered a casserole if so I like lasagna 😋🤤☺️😊
Not exactly but i do love it!
Im not much of a casserole eater. My wife occasionally makes macaroni casserole but its not my favorite dish. But of all the casseroles thats probably the one that I would eat.
Ooo i’d love to try baked macaroni casserole
I. never had cornbread chili casserole but looks and sounds tasty I probably have to cook it sometime. It's has everything in it i like and love chili. I don't eat many casseroles but if I do I do like it.
Yay :)
I made something similar last weekend.

Damn that slick look good
Anything with cornbread, greenbean casserole, if it's cheesy I like it automatically. Not super picky I guess
Green beans 😭
I retired at 3
I quit eating green beans at 3
Toss up between Buffalo chicken casserole and a halibut with onion casserole.
Ooo whats in the buffalo chicken casserole
Southern Mac N cheese Casserole and Green bean Casserole
A macaroni casserole sounds yummy
Damn 3rd person so far talking about green been casserole 🤣 it is probably good... Will try it I hope
Anybody notice... can we not use emojis anymore? 😢
@LovingLoverReturned it's amazing if it's made right. Love it with the fried onions and cream or mushroom
@LovingLoverReturned yea they did an update yesterday around noon and only certain emojis work now
Wtf :o (why the hell?)
Nice, white onions?
@LovingLoverReturned basically onion rings on the top 😋
Can't beat macaroni and cheese in a casserole with bread crumbs on top, lightly toasted.
Is the bread crumbs technically cornbread? Or do you mean like the croutons that go in salad
@DizzyDesii they're bread crumbs. Toast a few slices of white bread and crumble them over the top of the mac n cheese for the last 10 mins of baking. It creates a tasty crust on the mac n cheese.
Ohhh i see

The Southeastern Casserole.
Omg whats in it 😍
Oh thats basically what we made, we just put cornbread on top of it
Chicken stuffing casarole... its chicken, stovetop, miracle whip... i think... my ex gma made it... i think i regularly would have 4 helpings...
Whipcream with chicken? Lmao
Oh yeagh... cream of chicken in it too
Cream of chicken? yes... but miracle whip/whip cream? No. Unless you mean sour cream
Lmao nevermind didn't realize miracle whip was mayo 🤣 I dont eat that
Yes. Miracle whip is mayo
The one with green beans and tater tots, I can make it myself.
Ew what is that called
corn bread on top of beans? 👀😐.. that's weird!
Anyway, I rarely eat casseroles.
I suppose normal lasagna which I almost never eat but it's good.
We didn't put beans in it but its basically chili with cornbread. Nothing weird about it
I have never had a casserole that I liked but that actually sounds pretty good.
Yess try mine
I grew up poor. I ate so many casseroles as a kid that I swore I'd never eat another.
I always thought casseroles was a rich people thing. So i mustve been more broke than you back then 🤣
@DizzyDesii Same 😂💀
Does macaroni and cheese with tuna count?
Ooo lawd ig
Broccoli cheese casserole
didn't think it could get worse than tuna
I just hate broccoli period haha
Chicken casserole 😋😋😋
What all is in it?
Kangaroo or wallaby stew
Is that an oven casserole?
That looks so good. Cornbread is not common where I am.
Thank you :) And wow its not? Come on down south ;-)
Tuna fish... mmmm
Oh gosh
Tuna noodle
Oh lordy
I've never liked tuna in general haha
I don’t really have a favorite to be honest.
Oh so you just eat any kind? Or none at all?
Broccoli and cheese
Dang i could never get past the smell of broccoli
What!! U don't like broccoli?
At all
Don't like em
Try miiiine
Chicken Alfredo bake
What's in it? My teachers chicken alfredo tasted like ranch dressing and i nearly puked lol
Now I’m embarrassed to say what’s in it even though I just googled a random casserole
Lmao tell me what you specifically like in it
Pasta, alfredo sauce, chicken, sour cream, ricotta cheese, garlic, eggs, parmesan cheese, parsley, salt and pepper, mozzarella cheese
It’s good to me
I hate ricotta but the rest sounds fine. I wonder what in the alfredo sauce? I hope it ain't ranch
No that’s sickening
Yea my culinary arts teacher fcked it up then cause it tasted like and smelled like ranch
Mmm, corn bread and chili.
Yessss
I’m not a fan of any casseroles
You gotta taste the one i mentioned!
It was ground chucky roast
Just hv no idea about the casserole.
Looks good thanks
Thanks :)
