I have repressed childhood trauma from horseradish. I thought it was ketchup and I was horrified and I asked what was this horrible thing and someone told me it was horseradish and I automatically thought it was food that horses ate. But it would probably be good on seafood. It’s probably similar to Old Bay seasoning.
I love it. I wanted to grow some in the garden this year, but not many places sell starts and they were all sold out. My understanding is that once they get established they are pretty easy to take care of and will last forever.
I want to check if they'll grow inside also. I know they are deep rooted so I need a deep pot.
100%, love it. Wasabi, or regular horseradish. I love the tang, the burn, the stronger, the fresher, the better!
A tangy cocktail sauce (courtesy of a healthy dose of ground horseradish) on fried shrimp is mighty hard to beat!

THIS IS... the primary use I have for fresh ground horseradish, 32oz. grass-fed Porterhouse nicely-charred and medium rare! <3 <3 <3
Sometimes I like a little bit fresh ground horse radish to wiener sausages and to smoked ham. 50ml glass of horse radish lasts for months in my fridge unless I have the whim to cook something extravagant like beef tongue in horse radish sauce.
I don't it often but I love it. There's nothing better for clearing our your sinuses. LOL
It's great on a beef, ham or pastrami sandwich with mustard. It's great in shrimp cocktail sauce. You can add it to dips, sauces and rubs, too.
Definitely enjoy it, but sparingly. A little bit of a steak or on a Reuben is delicious.
Eeww to me it reminds me of the spell and taste of house paint.
I do, but I have it mixed in with beetroot. It's called Chrain
Yes i do, a lot! I put in my tuna salad. Spread in on sammiches. I’ll dunk my steak in some sometimes.
Usually we just buy cream of horseradish. We don't use enough to make growing it or buying whole roots worthwhile.
No, I do not like horseradish sauce! It’s just friggin gross! I don’t mind a touch of wasabi on my sushi, but I hate horseradish sauce!
Mmmmm hmmmm seafood fried whole clams and fried or raw oysters scallops yum yum horseradish extra hot and sour I make it with seafood once a week lol I can't help it lol!
It's not something I normally but my SO loves it. She's into spicy foods while I tend to go more for the less spicy.
Only had creamy horseradish, but damn does it go good on scrambled eggs.
The creamy shit is a no for me dawg
I've never had it on it fresh, I've had horseradish sauce though and thats pretty good.
I recommend trying it fresh!
me and my boyfriend picked up takeout on the way home from work, watched Netflix, and had sex.
It sounds like the horseradish had a positive effect on your evening!
We didn't have any horseradish
I was just giving you a hard time because you answered a question about horseradish and your answer had nothing to do with horseradish :-)
I mean good for you? Ftr I did not select this mho
I didn't know I got MHO
I love it! Most people think I'm crazy. We have a local restaurant that's heavy handed on horseradish in their coleslaw and it's great
Beyond its appearance in Russian dressing, no
I'm on team mustard
I don't think I have ever had it, it might be an American thing.
Love it so much I can eat it straight up
Sammmme!
Lol, I ate a whole jar one day…. Biiiiiggggg mistake. Very bad cramps
Verrrry bad mistake! Horseradish poisoning is a thing! I saw it on YouTube. 🤣
Oh really? That makes sense then omg… I felt like I could die
I like it off the plant root itself.
It' alright. Right now I am craving a soda
Yes I do like it. Mostly on beef though.
Nope. I don't like that at all.
my dad eats it like a madman but i hate it sm
Mixed with ketchup to make seafood sauce.
Oh yes! Dip it in some fries 😊
I don’t know what that is
It's very popular where I live
I think I need this in my life
Doesn't have to be ground.
I will have to try it... interesting
It tastes like horse sh. t
Oh yes! I grow it myself.
I am using tartar sauce instead...
