How old were you when you cooked your first meal from scratch, without any help and not something ready made. I think I was about eleven or twelve, what about you?
I completed grad school and moved out of my mom's house at age 24. Although I went to her house for Sunday dinner, otherwise I was on my own in the kitchen. Luckily, my mother taught me basic cooking skills and gave me a move-out gift of high-quality cookware.
I cooked my own meals every night for many years. It wasn't until I was earning good money that I began eating my dinners out. I didn't begin cooking again until COVID.

Whole meal by myself was around 11-12. There's a lady on tiktok who got her kids cooking super young with their own size working kitchen stations. It's really cool. I loved cooking games and food from a very young age and I think it would have been amazing to be able to actually cook on my own really young like that. It's really impressive too, I'll link a video if I can
Uhm I was in college when I first learned how to cook. Living alone at the dormitory at 17. Had to make my own canton noodles from scratch 🤣. My dad always cooked for our fam and sometimes the help. So I didn’t know how to cook until pretty much I was an adult in Canada

I was cooking breakfast at 5. By the time I was 11 I was in charge of family bbq on holidays. And nobody even asked me. I made myself in charge. My dad worked a LOT so he didn't mind being able to take a break.
I was ten, my father made me cook my first pasta dish. He observed all and didn’t help me, I did everything right except the time of cooking pasta, I drained pasta too early so it was very though.
