When you decide to get takeout what do you typically get and why?

Normally when I get takeout I prefer either Chinese or fast food (mainly Taco Bell)

I usually order steaks 🥩, salmon or souvlaki or Portuguese chicken/pork with rice 🍚 and veggies. Sometimes Chinese or Pho. But now restaurants are open, I prefer dine in. I don’t like my food sweating in styrofoam or plastic.

Unfortunately, Pizza is the go to take out in my house. My SO could live on pizza. And I don't eat shitty pizza, we will DRIVE to pick up the best pizza in NE Ohio! No domino's, no pizza hut, no Papa John's in my house. Hungry Howie's, Master's Pizza, Capp's or the best little pizza shop on the east side of Cleveland, which is 40 minutes away (freeway) from our house.

If it was my choice, it would be my favorite Chinese spot, but unfortunately we live about 30 minutes away from it, the local spots just are subpar.

If I suggest anything besides pizza, my SO 9/10 will knock it down, so I cook all but 3 times a month (roughly) & try to limit how much pizza we eat.

The SO handles takeout orders, and it is a long and drawn out process. It takes so long that I could easily order the food in person, but that isn't allowed.

She normally selects Italian food- pizza, if we happen to be at the pool, chicken parm if we are at her home.

Usually Fish & Chips, but not recently as the price of fish (either Cod or Haddock) has gone through the roof. I only buy take out when I'm going to be getting back to my flat late in the day, and I'm too tired to cook, the Fish & Chip place is only 250 meters from my flat.

I don't usually get take out food, but if I did, it used to be either Burger King (here in Korea, NEVER in the US), Pizza Hut, or SUBWAY. Nowadays, post-weight-loss-surgery, it's none of those at all.

I get Pizza Hut cause it’s cheaper but my interest is chicken pad Thai or sushi. My favourite is Italian and crab pasta but it’s too expensive to eat outside of birthdays or parties by rich family who visit us.

It varies a fair bit. Asian, Latin, pizza, sammiches, buffalo wings. Rarely fast food. It’s so mediocre to taste and terrible for you. I gotta be on the stoopid end of drunk to eat fast food.
