I don’t feel bad
We are animas too. We don’t get killed and cooked but we do indeed get killed for sure like even now that I’m typing this sadly someone is getting killed somewhere
You can stay for a long time without eating meat but at some point you will give up and eat a shrimp or a chicken wings in a closet…
That’s why most vegans drop like flies after some years of eating only broccoli etc
I do however believe killing animals for fun is bad. Like going out there and hunting randomly.. also eating meat or watermelon any food with limits. Over eating something isn’t good anyways.10 Reply

Anonymous(25-29)+1 yThinking about or eating meat has a tendency to make me physically sick. It could be because I'm subconsciously thinking about the animals, or maybe a weird intolerance, I don't know

But still appetite is not phased SO wring their necks and serve them up.-I've done that... and throw in some growth and testosterone hormones for both pork and chicken while you are at it. I'm not rich enough for beef cattle but Deer are good.
Dogs, cats, and hawk roadkill is off limits but the rest is "fair game".

+1 yAnimals are my friends and I eat no friends. The circle of life is humans eat fruits and disperse their seeds, fulfilling the plant’s wishes. What many call the circle of life (humans eat animals) sure sounds like the circle of death!

It’s because I grew up poor so I could only eat what was given and that was things like pizza and chicken because that’s the cheapest

Nope. If we were the only ones to eat other animals, I might. But animals are way worse to each other than we are to them.
Doja Cat: "I love animals. But they're also delicious."
Although I don't support cruel factory farming abuse to animals.
00 ReplyTo quote the Jem Hadar from the series Star Trek DS-9: "It is the order of things".
And to quote myself: it is where we are in the foodchain; we eat other animals, and if we are not carefull when we are out there, other animals might eat us.00 ReplyOn occasion sure, but I remember that it is the way of things. Even if you give up meat the grain and vegetables you eat were grown in fields that were once animal feeding/breeding grounds. Our gain is inherently their loss and vice versa. Unlike other humans we have no effective way of cooperating with most animals for mutual gain. Only with a few species like dogs and cats can humans and animals work together.
00 ReplyNope not at all, read the Bible God gave us dominion over the land the water and the animals to do as we see fit the one we use for food are not an endangered species its what they're breed for
Do you think lion feels guilty when it eats its pray or a wolf or a bear, what about a common chicken do you realize how many bugs a chicken eats does it feel guilty hell no and neither do I when I cut the head off that chicken and cook him up00 Reply531 opinions shared on Food & Beverage topic. Yes but mostly when they’re treated horribly. My wife and I have a list of companies we don’t buy from. Anyone doing biz with Monsanto, Tyson chickens is a no no.
Basically go for the organic, free range stuff. Chickens and cows aren’t road scholars. So a 3 year life span of free ranging and grazing is pretty damn good. Now give me my protein.00 Reply- 551 opinions shared on Food & Beverage topic.
+1 ySometimes. I attempted “vegan” for nearly a year and i learned a lot. I went back to eating some animal products, but much less and much smarter. Every now and again i get a wave of regret from some of my favorite foods. GD conscience! Ell oh ell!

+1 yYes because I know that the eggs, poultry and beef I consume came from unethical factory farming 99% of the time. It's one of those things that I can't think about. Cognitive dissonance at work.
00 Replyi have been a life long vegetarian so never had any of it. i guess i would feel bad at this point though
20 Reply600 opinions shared on Food & Beverage topic. Yes, I feel very bad for them. They only live to die for us. I'm glad they don't know that though.
When I eat fish, I wonder if I am eating a girl fish or a boy fish. I don't know why I do that.00 Reply
+1 yYes, I feel quite bad eating them and try to cut down my meat consumption. I like vegetarian alternatives so I’ll have those often. But I do still eat meat.
00 Reply639 opinions shared on Food & Beverage topic. I do, but I can't stop eating them. At least not for now. I'm seriously considering becoming vegetarian.

+1 yI'd vote yes and no here. I don't feel bad that we eat animals, I see them as food. I do feel bad when they are mistreated.
00 Reply No, but I also hate the factory farm model of pumping chemicals galore. I look for free range, and am willing to pay more for meats that are not hormone-laced.
00 ReplyI love animals, they’re tasty. But I sometimes feel bad for them. I also realize if they weren’t raised for food though, they would have never been born/hatched.
00 Reply1.1K opinions shared on Food & Beverage topic. I don’t like the way they are treated and kept in some places but I don’t feel anything in regards to eating.

Anonymous(30-35)+1 yNature made animals carnivorous, it's natural and actually in balance. Read BIOLOGY. The human brain evolved more than other types of monkeys due to extra protein intake from animals and fish.

Why are you the victim here

I am a human. The worst life form to be created in. I have a thought process about everything. I have to eat chicken then I have to cry about it. Have you seen an animal feeling guilty about eating another animal? But I have to feel guilty cuz I am a human. I hate life but I have to like it.
I hate it when people pity animals. Go pity yourself we're all in a miserable situation here - +1 y
Animals don’t have a sense of ethics like we do. We have to be better than them
