Cajun food! Yay! That's where I had gator bites on a few occasions. Gator meat tastes alright if it's cooked and seasoned properly. There are things I like a lot better, though.

Yes, it was just okay. They fried everything. I am sure it can taste better if cooked/seasoned differently. Never tried the jerky version.

No, I never had the opportunity to eat alligator or crocodile meat. But my father happened to have eaten crocodile meat in Africa. He didn't like it very much and said the taste to be somewhere between fish and meat.
