Is a homemade carbonara a good option for a romantic dinner?

I would never consider pasta a romantic dinner. Perhaps the closest pasta meal to a romantic dinner would be a proper chicken parmesan with a rich homemade tomato sauce, spaghetti noodles and fresh baked crusty Italian bread. Along with a good Tuscan Chianti red wine. Don't forget room temperature red wine refers to the room temperature of a European wine cellar that is 20 ft., below grade so chill that wine to about 15°C to mimic that room temperature.

I would stay from pasta with sauce, as there is always the chance for some sauce to get spattered on some good clothing, by accident.

Don't want a stain to be the conversation of the evening.

While I've never had that type of spaghetti before, I think it's a good idea. Especially if you get tired of regular tomato sauce & meatballs for the spaghetti. They say it's one of the most romantic foods to enjoy.
