Alcohol is no better nor worse than any other addiction such as drugs, gambling and sex.

It is indeed an addiction of the worst kind. While I do understand that people drink occasionally one glass of wine from time to time to socialize, I have no understanding whatsoever for those that have the urge to drink every day or to party with alcohol.

It does not make those people more attractive or interesting. Quite the contrary. It makes them look like losers.

I avoid people that drink alcohol because I know that they lose the control of themselves and reveal their true character and identity.

i don't drink that much, drinking to get drunk and normal social drinking just a few times a month - i know people who drink to help calm their nerves for normal things, now that's on the verge on addiction

I find it very addicting and constantly crave it everyday that's why I used to be something of a alcoholic.

My only serious addiction was caffeine
