Which East or Southeast Asian country makes the best food/cuisine?

I can speak only from restaurants in my city I visit occasionally. Thai cuisine fits my taste at most. However I think the wife of guy who owns this restaurant has best cooking skills, that's why I like eating there + 20m long 3m deep salt water aquarium makes a nice ambiente as well.

I think China and Japan and Thai and Vietnamese Pho restaurants produce good tasting food but I don’t know their full food varieties, only the most popular dishes they stereotypically serve at budget restaurants.
