1. I make coffee every day with a 24 oz French press. I pour it into two 12oz travel cups (the kind with sippy lids). I add the equivalent of a measured tsp of hot coco powder to each cup and then top them off with enough cold whole milk to make the beverage cool enough to drink.

2. Pineapple or guava juice.

3. My wife and I have lemon, orange, grapefruit and mandarin trees. I like home made orange juice or a combination of orange and grapefruit juice. Yum! The mandarins are only available once a year but mandarin juice is delicious.

4. I rarely drink soda pop, but on hot summer days I enjoy the occasional ice cold Jarritos mandarin soda. They use glass bottles and natural ingredients. I hate plastic bottles, high fructose corn sugar and chemicals.

And I love the occasional root beer on hot days. The commercial brand I prefer is A&W, but there is an amazing burger place in the nearby town that has it's own brand of home made root beer. Having that in a tall, frosty mug is really good. They have great root beer floats, too.

5. Chocolate malts. I don't have them very often but I LOVE them made with vanilla ice cream and lots of chocolate syrup and malt powder.

6. Bold, red wines, mixed drinks with rum, gin or tequila, dessert wines, port, brandy, ... but I don't drink alcohol very often at all.

Banana daiquiris, BarQs root-beer, and a ruby red slipper (A wide glass of 7up with a little grenadine. Then you drop a shot glass full of whiskey or vodka in the middle.)

There's also this one type of water I used to get at Wal-mart. It was called orange creamsicle water and it tastes like orange creamsicles. They don't sell it anymore. Nobody makes good stuff anymore.

I also like ice tea with a couple drops of vanilla extract. That's what I drink when I'm writing.

I used to love any chocolate mocha from a cafe by my house but I have not been there since the pandemic began and do not plan on ever going back.
