Is it normal for a Tim Hortons to have very few customers on Victoria Day long weekend in Canada?

I went with my cousin and aunt and uncle and dad to Tim Hortons today after taking a walk around the area, and very few people were seated on the patio. It might have been just us for part of the time we sat and ate and talked. But I saw a bunch of restaurants near by and they were filled to the brim with people, so much, that the seats were over crowded and looked more like punishment congestion then a leisurely and happy meal to celebrate Victoria Day.

One possible reason is that other people assumed Tim Hortons would be packed so avoided visiting. I know there were very few cars in the parking lot when we stopped by to go on our walk to Tim Hortons.

I also remember when I went to the restaurant on Halloween and the restaurant was almost empty. But its possible everybody was in the bar area and I was in the dining area.

There's been a protest against Tim Hortons lately, due to them requiring 100% proof on full vaccinations against Covid, to even allow kids into their camps, even if kids can't take it due to medical reasons.

What is the point in Tim hortins. Seems to be just breakfast food 24/7

Maybe because the food at Tim Horton's, like most places in Canada, is terrible.

Sure, depending on the time of day, things could be slow.

Most folks that go to Tim’s throughout the day are going to work, having lunch, or leaving for the day. Victoria days means many people are off.
