Is Chivas Regal worth the price?

I'm a bottom shelf guy, but I've found a brand there that suits me just fine:

Evan William's White Label, Bottled in Bond, 100 proof bourbon.

I've tried more expensive labels. Some were OK. Some were lousy. I figure that it'd be ridiculous for me to pay much more for something that doesn't please me as well as something cheaper does.

Chivas Regal? I'm not a Scotch guy, so I didn't care for it. Is it worth the price? It's not very expensive, so if you like it, I guess it'd be worth it.

Hibiki for Japanese

Scotch is a bigger scope
Blended would be Johnny Walker Black
Islay is between Ardbeg 10 and Lagavulin 16
Glenfiddich is the best regularly single malt

I do know my husband has a bottle of Balvenie salted away somewhere, that only sees the light of day on extremely rare occasions.
