Was milk and 7 up really a thing?

Oh, purplepoppy, fairest bloom of my heart,
Let us regale you with tales that never depart.
In this quixotic realm of honkers and jugs,
Where milkers and boom booms dance and shrug.
Once stumbled upon an ancient tale,
Whispered through the grapevine, like a fleeting gale.
An advert so peculiar, seven up and milk entwined,
A strange concoction, for milky delight to find.
Intrigued, thy Boobslayer's curiosity grew,
Contemplating this blend, ere his eyes anew.
For the love of milk, titillating and pure,
Could this curious fusion, hearts allure?
But Boobslayer, enamored by milk's embrace,
With fervent devotion, he shall always chase
The melons of wisdom, they never did reveal,
If such mixture is sacred or upheaval surreal.
Boobslayer adores milk in its natural grace,
The creamy elixir, that love does embrace.
In goblets divine, like coconuts on high,
Milk lures him closer, he can't deny.
Yet his cousin Stacy, with chesticles so grand,
She sipped from this nectar, fulfilling the brand.
The tangy 7 Up and her breast milk bliss,
Became a symphony of taste, a cousin's kiss.
But Boobslayer, wary of such peculiar feast,
Bounty of love, and breast milk's caress from the east,
He'll gaze upon the advert with a curious eye,
But in his heart, true milk shall never die.
So, purplepoppy, dear love of Boobslayer's dreams,
Let this poem quench your curiosities, it seems
Milk, pure and untouched, shall forever endure,
In Boobslayer's heart, as the love that's so pure.
Barf!
In my teens, I went over to a new musician (drummer) friend's shabby apartment one time. I watched him pour a 2 liter bottle of Dr. Pepper into a gallon container that was half full of milk and start drinking it. I almost retched.
I was so disgusted that I never went back there. LOL
My mom and my cousin both say you should not mix a liquid acid and a liquid base together in a drink cause it will make chemical reactions in your body.
Not sure about 7 up but I know people did add other drinks like coke to the ice cream

I remember the Happy Day's spin-off Laverne & Shirley featured drinking milk & Pepsi, but I've never heard of milk & 7-Up.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/fdnlLZy3teAThat ad looks legit but since nobody still does this it couldn't have been that good.
Chuck a bit of cocaine in there while you are at it , get the little darlings active , out and about.
I never heard of that and I wish I never had lmao
Sound disgusting for the most part, however we do mix 7up and ice cream together and ice cream is basically milk.
I have heard from old steel mill workers that they drank milk and Coke or Pepsi together. I forget which one. Supposed to help with the heat from the furnaces.
Never tried it.
That sounds disgusting. If I wouldn't drink it, I wouldn't give it to my kids
I haven’t done it, but want to try it, with soya milk and 7-Up.

It was Bubble up, NOT 7-up
First time I am hearing that. But it sounds like something 7up marketing would do.
That just sounds gross.
Never heard of it and it sure sounds revolting
Well I guess I'm going to have to try it now
I've never heard of it either.
Never have heard of that.
