I prefer homemade but I confess to having a few shop bought jars in the cupboard for lazy days.
Fair enough...😁
I try to do homemade most of the time, although it depends on what kind of timeframe I am looking at.
If I got home around 7-8 PM and it's late already, I may settle for already made sauce.
Fair enough, but usually even with already made i still create something of my own, for example if i don't have much i take... Ketchup,1cube of kitchen food base, a bit of parsley and dill, and few grams of black pepper, and salt, an mix them with Boiling hot water, and comes out like Gravy sauce, and tasty as for any food, like eithet are... fries, chicken, beef, boiled potatoes with butter, etc, etc. 😉
Whenever I put something on my Green Egg I tend to make all my sauces from scratch or when I am doing something in the oven.
Brilliant, good stuff, as the Oven yends to Dry the cooking/baking, so how i do i cook/bake untill crusts out, after i take it off and cover it with aluminium foil so it steams ouy and gets moist inside, makes it more eatable and yummy.
Yup, I tend to cook with the lid on and then take it off to brown things up. My oven has an air fryer so I turn that on for a little while to crisp/brown things up a little. It also thickens sauces etc.
Damn... Chef...😁👍
We should open a Oven only restaurant! Nothing fryed!
hahaha... hardly, I just like to make the effort.
Oh... i love to cook.
That's why i'm so Slim... lmaooo
Nothing wrong with enjoying what you eat.🤔😂
My own sauces. I cook two times per month a beef-chicken broth or Au Jus as base for sauces and soups. However there are a lot of easy to make sauces on roux base. (butter and flour)
Nice, sounds good.
I haven't bought sauce in years. It started with bbq sauce but I can also cook, Mediterranean/Greek/Italian, and Asian.
I always make my own. I don't have any sauces I pour out of a bottle onto food for cooking.
I make it from pan drippings, flour, water, salt and pepper and anything else I might want to add.

Hey, I saw you in this post 🙂 I didn't realize you are also a master chef.
Just wanted to ask. When you put flour in your sauce have you tried using Wondra flour? It's in a canister and you shake it in. It's just for making gravy's - no lumps.
Depends on how much time I have and if a good one can be sourced at least as a base
I create my own door dash deliveries.
Itvwas about sauces, not deliveries...😂
Both.
