I just had lahmajoon/lahmacun today. It is originally from Eastern Anatolia and is commonly consumed all around the country. I don't know its origins, but it is also a very popular dish in Middle East and some parts of West Asia as well. Lahmajoon is basically Turkish flatbread with minced meat and some vegetables as the toppings. Some call it Turkish pizza, but neither does it taste nor look similar. What about you? When was the last time you had traditional food?š
I have authentic Puerto Rican food fairly often. Usually itās pernil with arroz con gandules and habichuelas. Itās not exactly health food, so I canāt swing it too often at my age. But Iāll have it maybe once a month, and I think the last time was like a week and a half ago.

I had some narezushi for New Year. It is ancient and original style of sushi dating back to the Iron Age using fermented fish. The fish is fermented for 6+ months.
