How often do you order at home instead of cooking?

Here , if its only going to be for 1 ( and I know the restaurant , because I will never eat fast food , never ever ) , its rarely worth ever cooking , cooking it yourself is the expensive way , now sometimes it simply has to be grilled beef and fresh salad , that I grill , so that I cook..

Often I dont want to go and sit outside in one of the 100s of good choices ..

So long answer , its probably 3/4 times a week , but very different here to USA / Australia / UK , where my answer would be NEVER , because its the other way around.

We never order food to be delivered but we occasionally order food to go.
My with either cook delicious meals or I heat up frozen foods or eat things like canned chili or packaged organic soup for myself when she's not around.

In our home, we usually order take out once every 7-10 days but sometimes it's more often than that. We were busy with repairs and technology problems and taxes and did not have time to cook recently so we have been eating out a lot. We also eat out if we are not home since bringing home cooked food is a hassle. Like we left for a garden visit at 12:15 this week so we ate lunch at burger king instead of eating at home.

Never. If I get takeout food I nearly always eat it outside. The exception is when I pick something up on the drive home but I've never actually ordered a home delivery.

I’d say maybe once every 3 or 4 months , is much rather cook a meal or go out to a resteraunt and me served than order in. I really don’t see the appeal of it , and I rarely enjoy whatever I get. When I do order in it’s generally pizza 🍕 because it’s pretty hard for them to mess that up !

Either my boyfriend or I cook our own food. It’s less expensive and isn’t as high in calories. Easier to eat healthier when you know exactly how much of what you’re eating. We might order in maybe once a month or less? Not consistent. As far as going out to eat it is one time or less a week. Not consistently every week and not more than that when we do

Can't afford to very often. We get Domino's card with our charge card points- that becomes our treat.

I make our own salads - pasta, potato, slaws, three-bean, as well as tossed; our own pork sausage; our own burgers (73/37 stretched with a touch of TVP); our own sweets; and most recently, our own pickles (when we can afford the pickling cakes to make them and they aren't all mushy at the store).

Only once in a while if I’m super tired or have a right deadline and didn’t cook enough for two nights. I love cooking stuff from back home. It’s relaxing.
