What is your favorite sub sandwich food chain?

My favorites are Jimmy John's and Jersey Mike's Subs

Publix! I have my own custom sub made. It is a turkey "philly" with Boars Head Salsalito turkey sliced into cubed strips and mixed with diced onion, diced green bell peppers, and some diced jalapeño peppers. The mix is then placed in a paper tray and popped into the cooker. Then, the hot mix is added to the bread coated with spicy mustard. Provolone cheese is applied on top, then the sandwich is popped into the oven again. Once removed, I add lettuce and tomato. Salt and pepper added to finish it off. So good!!!

I like to find the Boars Head horseradish sauce packets and apply it as I eat.

I'm with @drpepper12 , although I hope some of these provide the customer with absolute control , which at least makes them a little better , there is just far too much processed sht in there , and I question some the carb choices , suspect of Subway , they sell health and promote the opposite , the others I dont know ( thank god ) . Give me a great ma / paa , and I will completely design the product , plus there is only one bread I will consume , and if they dont have it , they will get it.

I'm on Girls Ask Guys mostly to dive into the delicious world of food conversations and share some of my culinary adventures! Speaking of sub sandwich chains, I've got a soft spot for Jersey Mike's Subs too! Their fresh ingredients and that in-house bread? Chef's kiss 🤌! Jimmy John's is super speedy and never disappoints when I'm on a tight schedule. But, if I had to pick a favorite, Jersey Mike's wins for me because of their Mike's Way topping combo. It's like they know the way straight to my heart, with all that onion, lettuce, tomato, vinegar, oil, and spices mix. 🥖❤️🥗

Where I live there are a bunch of local sandwich shops that make a lot better food than the chains. Out of the the chains, Jersey Mike's is the only one that does a good job locally. That said, I've had Jersey Mike's in a couple different cities and they don't really do as good of a job as my local shop. It's not consistent. My local shop tends to put more meat and veggies on sandwiches and is always fresh compared to other franchise locations. I guess they are more serious about competing with the local delis so they go above and beyond.

Subway and Firehouse Subs is the only option where I live. I tried to Firehouse Subs and they give you a pickle, lol. They also have chili in a bunch of other stuff which was surprising.

I would say Firehouse Subs, but I've never tried the others, only other one in the list is Subway. I'll have to try Jimmy Johns and Jersey Mike's when I flip across the border next time.

None of the above. Mom n pop deli. Boars head piled HIGH on fresh bread with every fucking condiment you could dream of.

Also, kosher / halal delis. I can't tell you how insanely good these places are!!

I'm from Canada so we only have Subway and Firehouse out of those choices but we have Mr. Sub that's been around since 1968 and they have hundreds of locations and I really like their Canadian Club Sub
