My mom fed me and my boyfriend cereal and my boyfriend thought she trying to hurt our son.

DO NOT ATTEMPT in any Way or Matter to feed an Infant Cereals earlier than 6-8 months, i would still NOT feed him/her cereals, i would feed him/her veggies though, soft boiled veggies, so he/she can slowly-slowly work his/her Teeth out, Cereals can build up in his/her tummy and would make it very hard to pass stool, and soon you'll realise that you just fucked up his/her stomach, so don't, Just DON'T! You could try, Mash potatoes, Very cooked rice with syrup, and also you could make him/her get the taste of (like breakfast) toast/butter and jam BUT YOU'LL NEED TO CHEW IT UP FIRST for him/her, to be able to swallow, any HARD FOOD Should be chewed up before, if you want your baby to get the taste of the foods that YOU GROWNUPS eat!

Like the baby cereal or real cereal? Either way food really shouldn't be fed to babies before 6 months. Some old school parents do the rice cereal in bottles at like 2 weeks tho which is not good in my opinion but old school parents refuse to listen to modern advice
