I don't use cold cuts for sandwiches much due to the insanely high sodium content. But I do periodically enjoy a hot corned beef or pastrami on rye with mustard and a dill pickle on the side. Otherwise it's tuna salad with chopped celery & mayo or left over roast beef on a kaiser with horseradish mayo and bread & butter pickles.

I can't remember the last time I bought some lunch meat, maybe for my dad when he was still alive. Most cooked refrigerated meats like hot dogs, cooked sausages, and lunch meats are full of sodium nitrate and nitrite. I try to stay away from that stuff because it greatly increases your chances of pancreatic cancer, which runs in my family

Lamb (often, fresh cuts/leftovers from home)
Ham (rarely, fresh cuts, not prefab deli meats)

Not healthy unless it's off a roast or something. The cured meats in salt are to be avoided.

  Uncured honey hams are cured with sea salt, celery powder and honey/brown sugar and then cooked so you can eat it cold or reheated.

Okay. If I go to the deli, here's how it's going to go down. A hero bread that's slightly toasted with butter and garlic and then a hot heaping pile of roast beef and melted mozzarella on top of that with au jus to dip it in. Oh, and a Dr Pepper of course!

My typical sandwich is 2 white turkey slices with a slice of American cheese and a healthy spreading of mayonnaise, between two slices of honey wheat bread.

Usually ham or sometime bologna. I prefer homemade roast beef or chicken, but that doesn't count as lunch meat.
