Not my thing. I cook a lot, and when I want some food from outside I just use Uber Eats. I practically never go to a restaurant unless I'm with my friends, and if I did go to a restaurant I just get some food for takeway to devour at home while watching a movie.

I do however not judge those people who do it for the experience, as you do get distracted when you're watching a show. After all, the vibe that you get from the restaurant is also part of the fun, and if you're one of those people who's constantly on the move, or your schedule doesn't align with others, there's nothing wrong with eating alone in a restaurant, parking lot or in your car.

Not often. I did eat alone in the McDonald's car park yesterday because I was starving after work and noticed someone had left their 3 children alone in the car (new born, maybe 2 year old and about 5-6 year old). 🙃 People are dumb

Anyway I've probably done it a couple times but I don't typically eat out a lot

Yeah now n then, travelling, feeling like food and it’s too short notice to call a friend. Last time I did it I bolloxed up a meal I was cooking, thought fuck it and went to local pub n had them do the cooking, table for one lol.

If things work out where my boyfriend and I are on different schedules and we can't eat together, I'd grab something and take it home and eat by myself there. I may as well watch something on TV rather than sit in a public place.
