Do you ever eat in restaurants by yourself?

I do it here and there. Every time I go the laundromat I always end up eating fast food while I wait for my food but I was getting sick of it so I ate at a local Mediterranean restaurant.
I think eating alone is quite peaceful 😅

And remember to always tip your servers well if you’re eating alone, especially if you’re sitting there studying or something for a while. because you’re taking up their table and they could be making more money taking more parties of more people 👍

I did in the past, before Covid. I had long lunch break so I spent time at restaurant eating alone, it was good, it was time all for myself, sometimes I chatted with restaurant workers, it was a little Sardinian restaurant and during lunch was always almost empty since it went big at dinner with typical Sardinian dishes.
With covid things changed, restaurant business has failed and I got used to prepare my own lunch, bring it from home and eating it at work.

i really prefer to dine with others, it’s more fun to eat and socialize

I used to dine alone a lot and always tipped and the waitress hated me because she was jealous I did not have to work there and only tipped 10-15% when I ate there. She would try to embarrass me if I went with my church group by going out of her way to tell people I ate there all the time.

If I'm out and about, doing errands or shopping by myself and I get hungry I'll find a nice cafe to grab a bite at. I NEVER go to any fast food places.

No, I'm a great cook & can make better food than most restaurants I been to although the Mandarin cafe in Miami gave me a run for my money; their orange chickens superb:)

All the time, when you work in other countries one of the first things you look for is a decent restaurant with reasonable prices.
