What’s with all the dirty martini/dirty drinks lately?

I’ve been getting a lot of dirty martini recipes with blue cheese or Cesar salad martinis and I’m not opposed since I do like those flavors but is it a trend? Do you like them

Dirty martinis have always been a trend I was in a restaurant business for 22 years multiple restaurants and there's always that group of people that wanted theirs shaking not stirred extra dirty slightly dirty dirt on the side you just have to like gin and I think Jen pretty much is a holiday liquor so when it comes to the holidays Thanksgiving Christmas and even New years because I noticed that after the holidays then it was a lot of vodka drinks even though that was year-round but it was a lot more and then the summer it was the refreshing drink stuff what do you call them The carbonated spritzers in the Moscato's and things like that so they've always been popular I think that they just rise to the top during the holiday season

Like I said the average person doesn't recognize that I was in the restaurant business for a long ass time and I didn't notice it until I had been in the restaurant business for about 8 years and then I thought around Christmas time Thanksgiving and sometimes even Halloween every other person was a martini
