If cows could fly, would hamburgers taste more like chicken?

If cows could fly we would certainly be in trouble & for all the people who complain about bird droppings on their vehicles lookout because cows drop more. As for your question you are getting my brain MOOOving on this one & all I can say is that I’m going to be pondering this one all day. If a cow had wings I’m sure it would taste differently & although it would taste different I could only imagine how barbecue cow wings would taste.
“If cows could fly, would hamburgers taste more like chicken?”
My answer: No.
Why? Well chickens’ ancestors are dinosaurs and we can assume dinosaurs ‘tasted like chicken’… At least a little bit since a lot of people say Crocodile / other reptile meat tastes vaguely like Chicken.
Now onto the majestic Cow. Cows used to be Whales and evolved to be land dependent animals. I don’t know about whale meat though I would assume it to be close to cow meat similar to the whole Chicken / Crocodile / Dinosaur thing I explained.
This is just my answer, I’m sure a lot of people have different opinions so feel free to share yours on this interesting inquiry. Thank you for reading my answer!
@liaraven 👍
But it would be pretty cramped in the air. I'm not an aircraft designer, but the cow's wings would have to be huge, weighing half a ton.
Besides, the taste of the meat does not come from the ability to fly, but from the fact that chickens are birds.
I'd be pissed 😤... chicken burgers will never be as good as a beefy cheeseburger. Lol
That's a fun scenario to imagine! Flying cows would certainly add a whimsical twist to our world. However, the taste of hamburgers wouldn't likely change to resemble chicken. The flavor of meat is predominantly influenced by the animal's diet, lifestyle, and muscle composition. The idea of flying cows might inspire some creative culinary dishes or hilarious food-themed art, but the essence of a hamburger would remain distinctively beefy. 🍔🐮✈️

Chickens don't really fly, but they do have different muscles and structure from cows.
So yes, the meat of a flying cow would be more like chicken.
Reminds me of the children's rhyme...
Birdie, birdie, in the sky
Why you do that in my eye?
I'm just glad that cows don't fly.
I know that this is all in fun. However there is a basis in fact. A chicken does not fly much and usually just run around the yard. As a result the sow twitch muscle fibers accumulate in the legs. In ducks, they fly long distances and develop slow twitch fibers in their wings and breasts. The dark meat tastes remarkably like steak.
Chicken meat is significantly different from beef primarily because of the different muscle usage in each animal, leading to a much lower level of myoglobin (the protein responsible for red color) in chicken, making it lighter in color and having a milder flavor compared to beef, which uses its muscles more extensively and has higher myoglobin content; essentially, chicken breast is a "flight muscle" used for short bursts of energy while beef comes from muscles used for sustained movement throughout the day.
Definitely like chicken so the muscle mass is lighter and easier to lift itself, the cow. Luckily they don't fly until "pigs will fly".
If cows would fly, they would taste more like Red Bull.
I'd expect that ''cow wings'' will be a lot larger.
The burgers... well - they're full of ''additives'' ... I don't think that it makes a difference.
No but, it wouldn't be safe to go outside, anymore. You'd have to keep a super sturdy umbrella with you and open at all times.
Can't say the same about their shit! They just let go ANYYWHERE!
Well it would still be dark meat. So I'm gonna say hamburger lol

🤔🤔🤔..
With the aerodynamics of the meat flying through the air, and the weight of the beef against friction, I would say that based on my calculations, beef would in fact start to taste a little poultry like..
Okay okay, I'll take Chicken beef for 100 Lia..

Aw thanks Lia.. 😊
I'm not sure. All I know for sure is you would have to watch out for those cow paddies falling from the ski.
Reminds me of Pegasus that Henry Cavill wants to own 🤭✨
No. But the umbrella would probably need to be re-designed.🤣
Possibly 🤔
just imagine looking up to see those utters zooming above you 😅
@liaraven hey! Lols
@Circushowcowboy, don't worry, "little man", I am on your side, lol
Lmaoo ugghhhh
Not sure but why do we call a burger made from ground beef a HAMburger?
True it isn't ham. But due to "hamburg". Once in Mcdonald i spoke short "i want a burger" she said "we have 2 kinds cheese burger or hamburger " in that context ham was funny!
I'd reckon closer to duck.
If cows could fly, would they still eat grass? And if so, why would they fly? 😁
No, they would eat leaf! Hovering by tree top like a mammoth humming bird !
Yeah in addition if they could swim hamburgers would taste like fish.
We get chicken burgers often in my assisted living centre, so likely.
I generally don't eat them, but meh.
Not to me, cause I'm a vegetarian, my hamburgers are plant-based 😇
There is no such thing lol
Yes there is, look: external-content.duckduckgo.com/.../
If cows could fly, how would we catch them?
That be scary I bird crap is bad enough but BS be worst reck cars.
I hope it would still be cow. Unless we have a creature mix up like a Chimera.
chicken burgers are just superior
nope... chicken has got all kinds of great taste...
beef is just beefy
In a world where cows fly, yea probably. Lol
I sure hope not, lol.
I like meat!
Nice!!
More likely Turkey.
Another silly question
Maybe they’d taste like pheasant
Yes they would
