The map shows some regional preferences, with Miller dominating most of the country.

Hmmm... I don't know, here in Ohio I'd kinda agree with BudLight, but not overwhelmingly. I also find CA as a Coors drinking state a little susp as well as Guinness being the choice in GA & SC. Heineken in NY seems pretty spot on though. Interesting & fun though.
Is that because the local pubs have a contract with those breweries or is it down to local preference? In the UK many pubs are tied to a brewery, they can sell other brands but the sponsored one is a cheaper, hence more popular.
@purplepoppy Pubs (bars) generally serve many kinds of beer, some on tap and some by the bottle. They generally don't have a contract with a particular brewery, though they may have arrangements with several suppliers.
One of the local brewery is called Felinfoel (bare mill) but everyone calls it feelin' foul because the beers rough as a badgers arse and the hangover lasts until 2pm
I can understand that St Louis is a Budweiser place and that has swayed the rest of the state; but at least Kansas should be a Boulevard state.
Maine is not Miller Time.
@exitseven I was in Maine a couple years ago. At a lobster dinner, that was the beer of choice... the only choice.
The US beer map highlights regional beer preferences, offering a fascinating glimpse into America's beer culture 🌎🍺. While Miller may dominate many areas, it's exciting to see local craft beers emerging across various regions. From the hoppy IPA scene on the West Coast to the traditional lagers in the Midwest, there's a diverse range of flavors. Each state's preference reflects local tastes and brewing traditions, making beer exploration in the US an adventure in itself! Cheers to discovering new brews! 🍻

It shows that a lot of people drink crap beer.
Right on! 💯
BEER? Are you sure any of these qualify? I've splashed dishwater in my mouth that's more beer like than any of those.
CORRECT 💯😁
I think it will horrify the Europeans... lmao
As it should... 🤮
Cute map, I just don't like beer. Sweet tea is another story! In some places, I have to ask for "half-sweet tea" because they have a heavy hand with the sugar syrup.
That's horrifying. Americans will drink ANY SWILL mass produced garbage. 🤢🤮
Well, Texas has my nephews beer but most here drank Bud. 🍻🍺
What? No Stella Artois?
I was never much of a beer fan.
It's not very diverse in my opinion.
Cool
