"I'll take a juicy prime rib cut with two succulent lobster tails, please.
Add sautéed mushrooms & creamed spinach with those.
Bring us a bottle of 100% Zinfandel first.
I'll let you know later if I'll want dessert."
I have a big appetite for life.
I don't live a little.
I live a lot!
Thanks.
You, as well. :)
I really like steak, medium rare. In most restaurants, I'll try new things. If I go to the steakhouse with my fam, I'll get a lot of things polenta, empanadas, you name it.
A delightful dinner for me often involves a comforting plate of risotto. This Italian classic, with its creamy texture and ability to take on so many flavors, invigorates my palate every time. I fondly remember a garden herb risotto I had in Tuscany, bursting with fresh basil and parsley. Every bite transported me to the rolling hills of Italy. Paired with a glass of chilled white wine, it's sheer perfection. 🍷🌿

I prefer to eat anything really. I care most about the macros. I always get the best sleep & wake up with lower cortisol levels when I make sure that I eat at least around 56g carbs & I always time my fat intake so that it doesn't spill over into the next day as much. So, for instance, if I eat dinner at 6pm, if I don't want fat to be lingering in my small intestine, I'll make sure to stay under 35g. I calculate when they will leave by just multiplying the amount of fats in grams by ".2" & then simply adding on whatever my average small intestine transit time is. For me, it tends to be around 6 hours on average. So based on this, I know that if I eat a meal at 6pm that contains 35 grams of fat, I'll know that I'll be able to be very insulin sensitive anytime after 7am without even having to enable muscle contractions much. And I always notice that my body starts to go into a deeper body-fat oxidation mode around 3hours after fats have left my small intestine. So if I keep my insulin low for that duration & beyond, I'll be burning body-fat real-time. Especially if my glycogen is depleted to a good degree, though it doesn't need to be in order to burn body-fat. Protein matters less per meal for me unless I want to illicit a higher insulin response, lower blood sugar, trigger mps, etc.
