Your favorite sauce or dip? The food you like with that sauce?

I like the first four sauces such as soy, guacamole, tzatziki and salsa and I also like the last sauce such as tartar sauce and it's because 4 out of 5 these sauces work as dips and soy sauce also works as a dip when you combine it with wasabi mashed and mixed in. Earlier this month, I ate a diet, where I mixed cooked shrimp into a paste made of wasabi and soy sauce by eating them and dipping them one at a time the way you would with would dip them in shrimp cocktail sauce. I used to try product samples at stores and my favourite sample was basically this breaded biscuit like thing mixed with tzatziki sauce.

I love a good tartar sauce when im eating fried fish or grilled salmon. Love pesto on pasta... I like to make my own sauces too.

Last night I made a spicy Asian sauce to cook my enoki mushrooms in.

Bechamel sauce
Bechamel with nutmeg and sweet cream
Bechamel with tomato paste and marjoram
Bechamel with wasabi and dill
Bechamel with mustard
Bechamel with Parmesan and smoked ham

It fits to meat, noodles, potatoes, french fries, potato pancakes... It doesn't fit to fish

I don’t love condiments or sauces, to be honest. Most of the stuff I eat, I’d prefer dry-seasoned.

If I had to pick one, I’d probably go with BBQ sauce. I usually just eat fries salted and peppered, but if I was going to be dipping them in something, I prefer BBQ sauce to ketchup. Although if I were eating a burger, which I also prefer without condiments, I would pick ketchup over BBQ in that instance.

But overall I’d say BBQ sauce👍 Strong honorable mention to bleu cheese dressing, Buffalo wings are maybe the one thing I’d be keen to have an accompanying condiment with every time.

Oh man. Sauces, yum! Let's see.

Plain old Italian tomato sauce. Pasta, lasagna, shells, ravioli.
White wine sauce with garlic and butter. Seafood.
White wine with lemon and capers - Chicken.
Vindaloo - Lamb.
Korma - Chicken or vegetables.
Tika Masala - Chicken or shrimp.
Mole - Chicken
Plain old beef brown gravy - Beef stew, Beef Wellington.
Plain old turkey brown gravy - Turkey and mashed potatoes.
Barbeque Sauce, endless variety by region - Beef, pork, chicken, shrimp.
Bechamel - Vegetables and veggie lasagna.
Mornay - A bechamel with cheese added. Fish, pasta, and veggies.
Hollandaise - Eggs benedict, fish, vegetables.
Bearnaise - Cousin of Hollandaise. Same uses.
Mushroom Sauce - Any meat. Love portabella mushrooms.

It depends on what I'm having. Corn chips I like cheese or bean dip. Fish I like simple Kraft tartar sauce, fries I like old school fry sauce or as a second choice ranch dressing, sometimes blue cheese dressing. Tuna or chicken salad sandwiches lots of Tabasco sauce.
