Oh you've never watched Hot Ones on YouTube? They interview celebrities whilst eating gradually hotter wings and this hot sauce usually kicks ass. I wouldn't recommend trying it haha, my stomach was on fire the entire night the last time I had it (which was also the only time) 🤣🤣🤣

Frank's is my fave. I do remember parents taking a tour of the Avery Island La. Tabasco plant when I was a kiddo. Seem to remember that they ferment the stuff for quite awhile... and something about a layer of salt on the upturned end of the cask it was in. Interesting process.

I don't have a "go to" one, because they're all so different and it depends on the meal. Some sauces lean to a Mexican spice profile, others are more Cajun, and some are just plain "fire". If anything, the one I like best most of the time is a green mango salsa.

I don't like it too hot in that my tongue is burning and I can't taste the food. I use mild hot sauce actually - La Victoria.

Lately for flavor more than how hot it is, I will have tabisco's chipotle hot sauce which is delicious and mild. For really hot sauce as I tend to try local stuff that people make to blow my eyes out of my socket and repeat holes in my colon.
