They vary, depending on the quality. At the regular grocery store, a dozen large, cage-free eggs are around $5.99. 18 cost $8.79.
A dozen large, brown, organic eggs cost $8.49

My wife buys eggs for $7 per dozen from a friend who raises chickens. They are pasture raised and 100% organic.

I just picked up 3 dozen on "super sale" at $1.49 USD per dozen. The average price at regular food stores is about $3.29 a dozen USD. At ALDI discount foods around $1.79 a dozen USD, the last time I looked (it changes weekly there).
