1, it tastes , in general like sour alcohol, unless lots of sugar was added.

2, each wine has slight differences, due to barrel snd style and grapes, so no one flavor for wine. It has an aroma for nose and taste for tongue and various colors for eyes but all one wine. I loved the answer here by @AviatorTom

So 3, to describe depends, i would start with sweet wine and say this is sweeter. I often tell kids wine is not sweet, because that is generally truth.

There is no one taste of wine. Whites, reds, roses have different tastes. Some are sweet, some not so sweet, some have a dry taste, some are fruity. Port is full bodied so are the fine reds such as château Pichon Longueville and Petrus, the latter was jammy even in small measures

I've have Chianti both homemade and commercial and found them very different because the homemade was lusiously syrupy and the commercial a drier tannin led profile

Cheap champagne is bitter but Dom Perignon is complex with hints of oak and chalk

Good wine, fruity, light, clean, with hints of pleasant scents and tastes, vanilla, oak, lavender. It should give you pleasure.
Bad wine, heavy like a cadaver on your tongue. Moldy, chill inducing as it drifts through your nose and sits on your tongue.
Good wine you want to lick off your lover's nipples.
Bad wine you want to spray roaches with it.
It's all individual in the end though.
