Omelette or fried eggs? Which one would you prefer?

I really like omelette's 'cuz I can add all kinds of other fun stuff like lotsa' cheez and some homegrown tomatoes, a bit of bacon, some mushrooms, a shot of brandy, sausage, another shot of brandy, some chocolate chips, brandy, ice cream, brandy, brandy... ok, maybe I should just go with the fried eggs. 😳

I grew up with fried eggs
They feel like home to me

But I also learned how to make omelets and they’re so easy (and tasty) so I enjoy them as well

I suppose it’s a matter of how much time I have and if I’m feeling fancy or a little homesick

I like both at different times and for different reasons. I’m terrible at making omelettes. So if i’m cooking, i usually make a scramble instead.
I like my fried eggs sunny so i can break the yolks over my extra crispy hash browns with some hot sauce.

Out of those options, I'll take my eggs fried, sunny side up. Have the yolk run a little.

But even better than that (not from the options) is scrambled with cheddar cheese and a healthy bit of butter.

Depends what I have to put into the omelet. But even if I don’t, I’ll usually make them scrambled over fried so I don’t have to worry about the yolks
