Do you ever eat out of the cooking dish to save on washing up?

Today's light lunch was leftovers. To be specific, tatws popty with a big sausage. I just spooned the mix of parsnips, celeriac, carrots, leek, and potatoes into a small dish and bunged it in the oven to reheat before finishing it with grated cheddar.

Of course, I could have transferred it to a plate, but that would mean more washing up.

So do you ever just eat out of the cooking pot?
