I think it's silly to have days so close together. Walk into any store and you've got lemons competing with boxes of chocolate for shelf space.
So should we merge into one day? And what should we call it?

Omg, I am just like, so totally confused right now. Why are the lemons competing with the chocolates? Like do lemons have something to do with pancakes that I've just never realized before? Or are we just getting the lemons to go with the tequila so then we can just skip both holidays and go get pissed.
The most popular pancake topping in the UK is a squirt of lemon juice and a sprinkling of sugar
Oh. The things I learn here. š But that's just like, so weird. No wonder we don't have pancake day! š¤£
I like waffle pan cakes with chocolate and banana but regular soft circles seems like a waste of sugar to me.
I think it should be kept for any day pancake day. If you were here in Miami, would you make me pancakes? That sure would be nice my mother used to make them with milk and they were so tasty so great. I havenāt had them in a long time. 😊
Of course, from creps to crempogs, to scotch pancakes
No, bad idea. I want my pancakes the usual way, not shaped like hearts and covered with Hershey's kisses. 😏
Merging Pancake Day and Valentineās Day sounds like a delicious cultural mashup to me 😄
Imagine a day of romantic breakfasts, heart-shaped crêpes, chocolate-strawberry toppings, maybe even savory pancakes for dinner. It could be called āValenTakesā or āPancakentineās Day.ā
Personally, Iād keep both: Valentineās for love, Pancake Day for pure comfort. But celebrating both with a big shared pancake feast sounds perfect. 🥞ā¤ļø

Pretty sure it's landed together before
This year Chinese New Year lands on Shrove Tuesday
@purplepoppy so pancakes for breakfast on Valentine's Day? 💘 A cupid special 🥞
Don't hold back on the butter 🧈
I think the two should be combined ! Who can say no to crepes?
I didn't know there was/is a pancake day.
Shrove Tuesday if you're religious, pancake day if you're not. You have to tred carefully if you're not sure of the peoples religious status
AKA Mardi Gras = Fat Tuesday. Which I guess makes Valentines Pancake Day = Fat Couples Day.
@MrChinaski Thanks for the chuckle. LOL
well, I sure love pancakes...
Nope, the more holidays the better.
Nope. V day is over rated
