Is it okay to boil eggs inside plastic bag in a bowl?

My aunt taught me to put eggs inside plastic bag so that eggs don't crack or is it dangerous?

If it's like an oven proof bag, I guess that's fine, so long as there isn't air inside the bag that would insulate parts of the egg from the water.

I think it's been 30 years since I have had an egg cracked while boiling. I'd suggest allowing the eggs to warm to room temperature before hand and after you add the eggs just aim for a constant, visible simmer, rather than a rocking and rolling boil. I assume cracking results either from sudden temperature change or mechanical battering of the shell by furiously boiling water. 🤷‍♀️

Just use an egg piercer to put two small holes in the shell. Voilà, perfectly boiled eggs.

The egg shell is porous. Micro plastics are tiny and can penetrate the shell. If the shell cracks, all of the plastic can enter the egg.
