As for me I LOVE PIZZA & I always aim to get it from a local family run pizza shop. As for pizza if it comes off of a conveyor belt or the pizza place is a chain or the second you walk in the people aren’t hand tossing their own dough turn around & walk out.

As for me I never get pizza or any food delivered, I always pick it up myself because the less hands that are involved with my food the better.

I have my own pizza insulated bag.

I take a week a year but I still work... I do take off a day a year where I don't work because my customers aren't buying or selling on the end of Christmas eve or Christmas morning... by afternoon the unwanted presents are popping up on eBay

For delivery, I usually go with a solid local pizzeria rather than a big chain, but if I have to pick a brand, I lean toward Domino’s.

Their thin crust with extra sauce and veggies arrives consistently hot and crisp, and the garlic crust reminds me of little pizza spots I tried in Naples, just in a more fast-food, comfort-food way. 🍕

Sadly, the best pizza place in my area closed down due to a combination of COVID and a terrible, soft-on-crime mayor who refused to arrest or prosecute the "homeless" drug addicts that kept breaking in and trashing the place. We have a new mayor with sensible policies and crime is way down, but it's way too late for the pizza place.

There's another local family place that's about 80% as good, and that's where I usually go now. There's also Round Table Pizza, which is a west coast chain. It's not "traditional" style pizza, but it's still pretty good, and a big step up compared to the "delivery chains" like Dominos and Pizza Hut, which are last resorts.

I stay away from all the national brand pizza garbage like the plague. I live in pizza heaven. There are at least a dozen family owned pizza shops in my town. Napoli style, Greek, Portuguese, Wood Fired, Sicilian, thin crust, etc. I'd rather give them my money and get quality ingredients than pay less for something that was designed in a corporate kitchen for a profit point.

In general, if I am to order a pizza, I'll go with a local place. If I must go to a chain though, I'll probably get Pizza Hut. I want to give Domino's another shot.

We never have pizza delivered. There are 3 pizza stores within a 5 minute drive. We always order via phone and then pick it up. Domino's is our favorite.

I like authentic genuine, New York style pizza but they require that you come pick the pizza up or eat in.
