Would you all eat less fast food or would you just cut that fast food out entirely?
If bulk buying and healthy food were cheaper, would you still eat fast food?

Trending & News Healthy food isn't more expensive but it cost more time in preparation and people are lazy.
Believe me or not, convenience food with bio, eco or another healthy label on it isn't really healthy. Short look at ingredients list written in microfilm font size will reveal that fact quickly.
Even if you cook at home from scratch, making stock for sauces, using fresh veggies, buying quality meat... etc. this food will still contain some low amount of dubious stuff but you will get rid of ton of emulsifiers, taste amplifiers, corn starch sugar derivates, palm oil and food preservatives.
Ergo: Only way to eat halfway healthy is to cook by yourself or having someone who cooks for you. Of course if you have billions you can hire farmers who produce exclusive bio food for you, but this another price level.
No. I almost never patronize fast food chain outlets. Their food isn't that much less expensive and it's garbage. Their only advantage is convenience.
If I'm on the road and need something to eat, I might pull into one, but that's rare.
I much prefer healthy and organic. I like to know what's in my food.
My wife and I buy organic meat, dairy and produce. We buy eggs from friends who raise chickens. We buy a lot of our organic meat from local ranchers. And we get most of our produce from local organic farmers. Yeah, we pay a bit extra for some of it, but it tastes delicious and gives us peace of mind knowing that we aren't consuming chemicals.
We even grow some of our own fruit, veggies and herbs.
In the long run, actually, home made meals are way less expensive than meals at restaurants. I mean, we could spend a total of $20 on a home cooked, gourmet meal for two that would cost over 3x that in a restaurant.
That's what I do. Except you don't need to bulk buy at a club store. Just shop smart and eat well controlled portions.
I eat fast food maybe 3 or 4 times a year. Most of the time I'm eating fresh veggies, starches, and lean protein including lentils and beans at home. One night a week I go out to an upscale wine bar and restaurant with friends. Eating well and eating healthy is not expensive. Eggs, chicken, pork, and mussels are pretty inexpensive. Canned or dried beans are very inexpensive. Rice is inexpensive. Buy vegetables and fruits in season whenever possible. Stay the hell away from the processed foods aisles and soda. Cut back on breads. Drink water.
It actually is cheaper. You just have to look at prices, know what to get, know things that are in season and good quality as well so they last longer, know where to go to get specific things, if you can look at discounts. Cooking at home is cheaper, and healthier, and you don’t need to have a Costco membership. Cooking just takes time sometimes depending on what you make. Another key thing is knowing what to do with ingredients you already have at home, so things don’t go to waste either.
I’d definitely eat less fast food, but I wouldn’t cut it out completely 🍔
Bulk buying and cheaper healthy food makes it so easy to cook at home, prep meals, and play with flavors. I love turning simple ingredients into something cozy, like roasted veggies with miso glaze or a big pot of tomato basil pasta.
Still, sometimes that salty, greasy burger just hits a nostalgic spot, like my late-night drive-thru stops after long shifts. I’d keep fast food for rare cravings, not as a habit.

Healthy „bio“ food is cheap enough in my country. I buy almost all in bio quality.
Cooking can be cheaper than fast food.
I mean... take some ground beef, a couple of onions, some chillis, can of tomatoes, paprika, cumin, can of kidney beans; maybe serve with some rice. Dinner for four with a hint of nutrition for no more than McDonalds. Can of tuna, some cheese, milk, onion, penne. Way cheaper again. Squeeze some fruit and vegetables in and your fine, nutrition wise.
I'm not suggesting a menu, but there are loads of ways to cook and eat cheaply.
i don't buy fast food because it's cheap, i buy it because i'm out and in a hurry somewhere in a city where they don't have healthy fast food, or sometimes i'm just in the mood for something particularly
I've lately been required to drastically trim my food budget.
I still, on occasion, hit the fast-food joints.
I'm good with doing so.
I would eat the same...
I do have some "junk food" but not on the daily, not even weekly... lol
Even if the best food in the world was free, all the healthy foods I would still eat McDonald’s, Papa John’s, Burger King and Taco Bell And Wendy’s And Kentucky fried chicken. Why because it’s so good
I don't eat fast food really ever. I actually really enjoy buying food and picking produce. Fast food really isn't that cheap. You can save a lot money if you make meals and eat leftovers
Fast food isn't cheap. If I go there it's not to save money but because I'm craving it.
I hardly ever eat fast food. maybe 3 or 4 times a year. I get takeout at a local place that uses good ingredients.
I can and do buy in bulk and cook at home, but I still eat the occasional pizza, fish and chips, or upmarket burger.
It's not just the cost of food that makes people choose fast food. A "quick" meal easily takes 30-45 minutes of prep and an additional 20 minutes of cleanup
I barely eat it anyway and only when needs must... I haven't been to McDonald's in approaching 6 years
About as often as I do now: once every several months, or so.
Didn't think BJ's were a healthy diet, I guess for girls it might be.
Depends on the situation if im on the road with no lunch or if im sick and need something to eat to keep my strength up then fast food it is other than that I'll cook for myself
I eat a variety of foods 📐 like the food triangle or food circle of old 🔴⭕
I eat fast food very rarely.
I don't eat fast food now.
It is cheaper and I already don't eat fast food.
I rarely eat fast food anyway.
Probably some.
Of course
