purplepoppy's is the pancake Queen. I tried her buttermilk pancakes receipt and those pancakes were outstanding with 12+ hours in buttermilk fermented dough
I like buttermilk pancakes with blueberries added to the batter. Cooked in a griddle with lots of butter so that the edges get crispy.
Top them with organic butter and lots of 100% pure maple syrup.
My wife likes to heat butter, maple syrup and molasses in a pan for a warm topping. It's really good.
I had a friend whose wife specialized in banana pancakes. I think the mashed bananas were a substitute for eggs and milk. They were delicious.
Those look awesome. You make the best food questions. I like them larger from your picture and made homemade with milk and blueberries made into them. I don’t like pancakes made with water
I got Ghostbusters crew sightings in my city 😂
My favourite is your first stack... berries, maple syrup, but vanilla ice-cream not butter.
I prefer European pancakes, usually filled with with jam or marmalade, sometimes with Nutella, or with honey and walnuts.
I prefer a stack of smaller pancakes, with butter and maple syrup
I like them with blueberries with plenty of real butter
I like with fresh fruit, like strawberry and banana
I had pancakes maybe 2 or 3 times in my life. Usually just going for crêpes.

I like my pancakes thick, fluffy, and slightly crisp on the edges, made with buttermilk and a touch of vanilla. 🥞
For serving, a small knob of good salted butter, warm maple syrup, and a handful of fresh berries is perfect. Sometimes I add a spoon of mascarpone, like a little Italian twist, or matcha cream for a Japanese-style fusion treat.
