Trending & News Sandwich. It’s on bread not a soft or crunchy tortilla
A sandwich.
Thanks for the MHO
A hot dog, structurally, is closer to a taco than a classic sandwich: one split piece of bread acting as a hinge with filling inside 🌭
But culturally, it has grown into its own category, like pizza or sushi.
I remember eating street hot dogs in Tokyo with wasabi mayo; nobody called them sandwiches, just “hot dogs” – a little culinary universe of their own 😄
