Debunked: Why do girls go with bad boys?

As we all know the common fact -- "Girls like & go with bad boys rather than nicer boys". In this MyTake, I am going to debunk the REAL truth behind this as well as prove that this fact indeed is a myth & NOT true at all.

Warning : Some may find this myTake offensive!

First we need to identify & segregate each of them - "Girls" & "Bad boys"

Fact #1: Girls here are not "ALL" girls, but only the beautiful ones!

We live in a society where only "beautiful" girls are considered as girls. Nobody gives a single sh!t to the average looking girls or ugly girls. Just because the society (majority men) concentrates on the activities of beautiful girls, we all forget that there are tons of ugly/average girls in their house & they are desperate for a date/relationship while all men look at the selected number of beautiful girls & keep masturbating while they fantasize about them. Men never bother to look or try to date an average looking girl. Forget about the ugly girls. Coming to the point, because the focus is on the small number of beautiful girls, when the "beautiful" girls make their move by going with a "Bad boy" we all say -- "Hey! See? That's what girls are! They always go with the bad boys & ignore such gentlemen like us!" And this pathetic behaviour of the men demoralize the average/ugly girls to make a first move towards a boy because they know that the boys would be fapping to some beauty doll (even if they never get the beauty doll in their life) & may get rejected. While in other hand, the beautiful girls don't hesitate to make their first move towards a "so called" Bad Boy.

Fact #2: Bad Boys? Who are they? How are they different than most of the boys?

We never bother to check what are the characteristics of a Bad Boy. We just assume that a Bad Boy is a boy who just breaks the rules, acts like an asshole, does all kinds of drugs, fucks like a monkey (with or without a condom) etc. from which some are true but not necessarily true all the time. Here we need to identify who the Bad boys really are ::

Fact about badboys #1: Bad boys have rich parents

The origin & the very cause of making a boy as "BAD" in the society. A boy who is from economically sound family will no doubt have access to their parents money & through money, he will buy whatever he wants & thus attracting the girls (beautiful) as the gentle boys can't afford such things because they are middle class & more dependent on their wallet. They can't spend blindly like the rich (bad) boys. (See the followup). Bad boys are the ones who are wasted because of the money.

Fact about badboys #2: Bad boys have had bad parenting

Usually we see rich kids are wasted because their parents think that by providing every material & fulfilling their child's needs is called Parenting. But it's not. This way they destroy their child's life & make him a real asshole instead of a good person. This makes these boys "stubborn".

Fact about badboys #3: Bad boys never concentrate on studies

Because these bad boys come from rich family, they never concentrate on studies. They never feel the need of a job or a career, they have huge bank balance & a credit card at their disposal. They concentrate more on extra-curricular activities like football, lacrosse, baseball, driving, parties, doing drugs, disco nights, bars etc.

Fact about badboys #4: Bad boys are mascular

This may not be 100% true all the time but it is most of the time. While our nerd, geek friends (good boys) are so busy on their studies, these Bad Boys spend a lots of time in the gym to make their body look sexy & strong (we know the intentions).

Fact about badboys #5: Bad boys don't obey rules

The Stubbornness caused by their parents is the player here. They just don't know to follow the rules. They just know what to do when they want to do something regardless if it is legal or illegal.

Fact about badboys #6: Bad boys are more confident that good boys

This is also a key player for the bad boys. They seem to have more confidence that the good boys. The source of their confidence here is the money itself. They have nothing to lose. Their parents can buy him a seat in a better college if the current one expells him. So they are free to do anything. And our good boys on the other hand are scared to do small things like smoking a joint in the premise of the college.

Fact about badboys #7: Bad boys own newer (costlier) model cars, motorbikes

Bad boys usually have a better (best) car or motorbike. That's why all these beautiful girls get desperate to get a ride on it because our poorfag good boys will never be able to buy such thing.

Fact #3: (Beautiful) Girls have trashy personality

So even after knowing that the boy is a bad boy why does a beautiful girl go after him? Because these pretty creatures look very good outside but have a trashy personality inside. They never value the character a man has. They just get hooked to the muscle, money, material & manhood of that person. Instead of looking for a healthy relationship, the (beautiful) girl concentrate on temporary enjoyment the (bad) boy can give her.

Fact #4: (Beautiful) girls need everything in exchange for their beauty

Yes, that's right. Because they are born beautiful, they think they can get everything they want (and surprisingly they do). They use their beauty as a resource to exploit these "Bad boys" & suck shitload amount of money & goods while they are at it. They sleep with them without any hesitance because they will buy them stuff which they themselves are unable to buy neither are the poorfag Good boys! And a stunning fact is that the bad boys know this exactly that these beautiful girls will be the ones sucking their dicks.

Fact #5: Good boys are boring

Yeah. They do the same shit over & over. Never do anything new. Where their counterpart "Bad boys" do all the crazy shit they can! This attracts these (shallow) girls to get along with them & have fun.

Fact #6: Bad Boys Are Masculine

Accept the fact. Bad boys tend to have better physique than good boys. Because? They spend an awful lot of time in the gym. They participate in physical games & sports. And what kind of girl doesn't want a good looking man? Good Body = Good fuck! Don't listen to those idiots who say girls care more about a guy's personality, than his appearance, maybe true to some extent but in this case a beautiful girl obviously would want a handsome & strong boy! Fact #7: Confidence factor

The last & most important fact! Good boys may seem too nice but what they lack is Confidence. They get confused & are afraid of consequences even before making any move. They calculate & imagine more than do things. This is what pushes them behind and the "Bad Boy" gets the piece of cake. Good boys live in future & think like "what will happen if I do this?", "what if this happens?", "what if I get insulted?", "what about my career?" etc. But bad boys live in present & do things that come to their mind, they don't care what will happen. Whether it is breaking any rules of college or doing drugs or asking out a pretty girl. The winners are the bad boys!

Remember that there are only a handful of bad guys in this society & they are more prominent because of their actions. Nobody gives importance to nice guys & they are not eye-catching. And while saying "Girls go after bad guys" you should think again. Do ALL the girls go after the bad guys? NO. it's the only handful of beautiful (trashy must I say) girls who you're secretly fapping to. There are plenty of girls who are in need of a relationship (whether desperate or not) and you should divert your focus from the beautiful trashes to get yourself a girl.

This not uncommon that (all) guys usually keep a track of relationship status of beautiful girls & know about each & every move the beautiful girls make. Who they are dating, who they are fucking, who are they partying with etc. Why? Because men are prone to get attracted to physical beauty! No man keeps a track of dating status of an average looking girl or an ugly girl. (Oh! do they even look at her?)

So this myth "Girls go after bad boys" is created by loser men who are not able to get a beautiful girl in their lifetime because they don't see themselves whether they should run after the beautiful girls like hungry dogs or should be gentlemen & look for "Good girls" and NOT "Beautiful Trashes".

Learn to realize the facts than making an assumption on popular social beliefs!

I really would like to say this was a good Take.. I mean you took a lot of time and effort to put it together and you made it a somewhat easy read. But I have to tell you in my experience I have never met the bad boy that you are describing.

You mentioned MORE than three times that bad boys come from money. They have rich parents or whatever.. I just have to disagree with this because what you're describing are nothing less than BRATS. I know the exact kind of guy you mean. I'm picturing Andy Clark in "The Breakfast Club" played by Emilio Estevez. He's the jock, popular, somewhat badass who stands up to Bender who's rich daddy puts pressure on him to be "number one". But also look at the REAL badass in that film, John Bender played by Judd Nelson. THESE are the guys that the girls go for usually in their teens and early 20s because they have a real devil-may-care attitude.

As for the rest of the Take, describing the proverbial "nice guy" I guess a lot of that is true. But ask many girls here about who the real bad boys were that they've dated and many of them will describe that free-spirited guy on a motorcycle who's been in a few fights and has a blue collar job and lives the sort of life that seems like he's a lone wolf. Again if you love movies like I do, think Ronnie Cammareri in the film "Moonstruck" played by Nicolas Cage. Skinny, missing a hand, angry at the world, sexy as fuck and Loretta couldn't resist him. Now that's a bad boy. :)

yeah i scratched my head when he started saying bad guys have money because my mind also went to the John Bender type as the bad boy and he didn't have money. most bad boys (at least when i think of them) tend to be poor or come from low income backgrounds. i wouldn't have considered an Andy Clark jock type a bad boy at all. he was just a regular normal guy who was popular.

These behaviors and traits of the "bad boy" are spot on for my stepbrother. He was totally this kind of wild and reckless "bad boy" when he was in his early twenties who always attracted these kind of shallow superficial beauties you mentioned. When I was younger, I couldn't see it for what it really was and I used to envy him. I used to complain like every supposed "nice guy" that only "bad boys" got the girls and "nice guys" got shitted on. Now that I am a mature adult I see it for what it really was. The truth of it is that the majority of these girls that he was around back then had a rotten "what can you do for me" kind of mentallity and were not the nicest or freindliest of people. The times he would bring them around they would not so much as even look at me or anyone else that they deemed as not being able to do something for them. It made sense because he was always able to come and go as he pleased and do whatever, whenever on account that his momma paid his bills, brought his clothes and took care of his responsibilities, so he lived a life that was relativley free of worries and stress. He had time to go to the gym, he had time to screw multiple women and perfect his stroke. He never had exams to study, a job to be at or responsibilities to take care of. He knew all the owners of the bars and night clubs in my hometown and surronding areas and was very much a part of the drug and party scene. He was always available to go out to that party that happended to fall on a Wedsnesday night because he didn't have a job or school to worry about the next day, he knew every hookup to score drugs at any hour of the day, and this is why these girls were around because he could do something for them like get them into this happening party and get them those drugs. I am pretty sure it's also because he was a fun guy but I like to think any guy or girl that isn't bogged down with the stressors of life would always be fun to be around. It never failed that after all his money was blown on drugs and partying and he was broke to his ass those girls were no where to be found. Today at 32 years old he is still trying to live this lifestyle hanging out with people ten years or more younger than he is. Pretty much all his friends and his honeys from back in the day have moved on and are working real jobs, taking care of kids and doing things people that are in their 30's do. This is a good take that exlains this scenario rather well

I would say that most are still too young and lack the maturity to see these scenarios for what they really are, as I have seen a few nasty comments on here. Why do people put so much energy and effort into the bad boys vs nice guys bullshit? I'm shy and quiet and plenty of girls have drooled over me. Hot ones. Like it I was in a class the hottest ones would be after me. Usually the asshole dudes were fat and sloppy.

I think the problem here is that the myth comes from media and entertainment. Movies, TV shows, novels, etc. They paint this picture that bad guys have the most perfect bodies, are rich, confident, and creative. In other words it is a model of the stereotypical view of what females want in a man wrapped up into one picture.

Not to say there aren't some guys out there who are rich, muscular, assholes (clearly they are) however it's not as common as people think and it doesn't mean hot girls don't go for other kinds of guys.

I think your end point connects well with what you said in the beginning. You probably feel that ugly/average girls have great personalities and that beautiful/hot girls don't? And that only these said girls go for the stereotypical "bad guy".

I consider myself a bad guy sometimes. I do what I want. I say how I feel. Yet I'm still shy at times. I'm not rich. I work out, but I'm not a muscle head. I think people are more complex than you are making them out to be. Plenty of us are both nice and bad.

I also don't mean that in a stereotypical view either. I don't mean the whole "He's nice to me but mean and protective to everyone else" thing that girls think sometimes. I'm saying you can be nice to people. You can be a nice guy, but

Is this a joke? Women are attracted to "bad boys" because they are usually more fun, confident, and assertive. Like you mentioned, nice guys hold back because they're too worried about what other people think, and that's a huge turnoff for women. It doesn't matter if you're rich or not. Sure, some beautiful women are "trashy" and some attractive and muscular guys are "bad boys", but there are plenty of beautiful women and muscular men who are great people.

Don't hate them just because you're too lazy to take care of yourself. I'm almost 30 but look like I'm under 24 because I exercise, use skin care products, cook my own meals with quality foods, get 7-8 hours of sleep every night, etc. Why shouldn't I want a beautiful woman who respects and cares for her body too? Why would I want to date an overweight 25 year old woman who neglects her body and looks like she's 35?

A lot of people on this site are young, so make sure you take care of your body and your mind. If you want to find a quality husband or wife, you need to make sure you're healthy and attractive, as well as smart and fun. Being only one or the other will not get you very far in life. Most of them are true. But girls have got different definition of being bad. And at some points i disagree that rich people often have spoiled brats. But it is not completely true because thugs and gangsters are more bad coming from poor families.

I used to think confidence was the problem for these self-proclaimed nice guys, but then I began to see a trend with them. They have accomplishments in everything from academics to careers, but not in their personal relationships.

To sum everything up, bad boys can afford to be bad because they have a lot to offer to girls. Nice guys do not have much to offer so they can't afford to be bad otherwise girls will dump them instantly.
