It's a good take, but I don't agree with some things. Of course, anyone must do what their heart desires and everyone has the right to have their own preferences.
But letting the man take the lead, cooking and not being businesslike nor "bossy"... isn't that a tad outdated? It's the same thing that saying that a good man must be very work-oriented, direct his wife, and be a true leader.

1. By bossy do you mean assertive? Not everything in life can be accomplished by being encouraging. If two people just encourage each other or get how do you resolve conflicts? Or stand up for yourself? Or make important decisions?

Or are you saying the guy should be assertive but the women remain only encouraging? This is either sexist or to simpaotic leaving it open to sexism. You might say you'd say the same thing for a guy but that's the problem with girl boy kists--It comes out sexist despite best intentions.

Most things here are expressing basically decent behavior that would equally apply to a good boyfriend. The ones that are not about decent Behavior are just unhealthy traits indicative of pathology... When volition and agency are not disrupted, without underlying psychological problems.

l of these are really true, except i don't really care about 10, since i can cook myself, and 12... NO, JUST NO. I'm automatically turned off by athletic women. If there is an inch of muscle definition on a girl, its a deal breaker. Plus, i consider sports and athletics a masculine thing, and i think it makes a girl less feminine for participating in them. But hey that's just me.

And i honestly don't care about 15 either. All that should matter is US, and OUR family. If she didn't get along with her old family, that's fine by me.

Nah, you don't have to do all of these all of the time. It should come naturally. If you don't feel like it at a time, you'll probably not want to engage socially with anyone new.

@Amyb90 Well she's really shy, doesn't speak much English cause she's pretty new to my country so isn't keen on me calling her which i guess is fair enough. Said if we talk it should be in person so suggested we meet up after her work on the beach. It rained that day so she called it off so resceduled the week after but then had to work longer so again we didn't meet. I asked her how she feels about me but she didn't reply 😕 But she sends me good night good morning messages, always tells me when I say sonething funny so its kinda confusing?
