Surley it makes more sense for a girl to be stating that her lover is "Big" or "The best" rather than her biological father though. I am not saying this is always the case, I am simply telling people not to jump to the conclusion that someone is creepy for this, there are weirdo's out there for sure, I' just saying it's not always the case :)

But the intent with what we say, does not always match up with how it is perceived. If you asked ten random people what they thought about a girl calling their guy their 'daddy' and most of them did not think she meant 'big' or 'the best', but instead thought she had daddy problems- then it is reasonable she should expect people to think that is what she meant, and should not say it knowing the majority of people will misunderstand her.
