Hello ladies of G@G :)

Today I want to share with you the stories of a few inspiring women. I admire these women greatly and I hope you will enjoy reading about them!

1. Shania Twain

This country singer hasn't exactly had a picture perfect life. She lost both her parents in a car crash when she was 21 years old. After this terrible accident she took care of her brother and sister (13 and 14 years old) all by herself. Later in her life, her husband cheated on her and they seperated. A couple of years ago she mysteriously lost her singing voice, but she recovered and even went on tour again recently! She didn't let these experiences ruin her country spirit.

2. Miranda Hart

Miranda has her own sitcomedy, she is absolutely hilarious! And.... Single! I think it is amazing that she didn't need a man to achieve these wonderful things or to be happy. Miranda is independent and good at it!

3. Jane Eyre

This is a fictional woman, but it doesn't make her great influence any less real. Jane was an orphan with minimal chances, but she didn't let this hold her back. She was independent, strong headed and determined to make something of her life. Very rare qualities for the time she lived in.

Good subject, though i'm not sure why its 'amazing' that a Woman wold accomplish anything without a Man. Happens all the time. People accomplish great things with or without a partner. Usually a social support system is sufficient. Does not need to be a romantic partner.

Thank you for the list! :) I love how there are so many powerful women. I didn't mean it like that, the thing is most people around me base a woman's happiness off of a man. They think of being 'single' as a bad thing and I just think it is fabulous that she doesn't need a man to be happy or succesful in life.

by the way i had no idea she had her own show. im excited to watch it, and i dont usually watch shadows... i loved her in call the midwife. she's awesome!.

I'm glad you like the show! I know lol, I cry watching it. Me and my best friend actually act like that in real life lol. Thank you, I thought it would be better to post myTakes on inspiring and/or fun subjects, because there is no point in arguing about harder subjects since everyone has their own opinion. But those subjects do get more replies, sadly.

You forgot to mention that Shania Twains husband cheated on her with her *best friend*, her uglier, fatter best friend. That had to hurt. It's one thing for your husband to fuck another woman, but your best friend who everyone knows is uglier? That's low. Also, her best friend is a cunt for hiding it too. Having lunch with Shania after fucking her husband... ehhhhh... no.
