    This is a funny take!!

Also girls who text you how are you to initiate, or respond to your text with a how are you?

Then they ignore your response and don't respond to your how she is back...

    WHAT?

      @MysteryBird Exactly. Either:
      1. Text you (initiated themselves) and ask you how you have been. You reply and ask back and then they just wait, despite texting many other people (you can see their read and last online statuses). Then they either text you back after a day or more or just leave it?
      2. Respond to your initiation text very quickly and then ask you how you are. Then they read it and either text you back after a prolonged period of time or just leave it?
      3. In both cases, this could be a girl you just met or a girl you have known for a while?

I don't expect you to read my mind. But @ least read the OBVIOUS signs. And I'm only insecure when you make me feel that way.

@MysteryBird Ummm... No. It's obvious. Like for example, you should know why I'm mad @ you. Because you should know your own ACTIONS. Or I shouldn't have to TELL you how I deserve to be treated. You should know how I deserve to be treated by how I present myself. NOT by what I tell you. Actions speak louder than words. If a guy deliberately pisses me off, I get mad @ him, and then he wants to act as if he doesn't know what he did wrong, I'm leaving. Cuz an adult should be aware of their own ACTIONS. THAT'S why it's ALWAYS obvious with me. Because I show my emotions the instant anyone does anything out of line. I NEVER make it not obvious.

I think same thing can be done with guys/men in these, but not the make ups. However, true men and women don't need all that.

A lot of these stem from self esteem issues really... And you can't just wish low self esteem away.

I agree with this, but I think you should add some explanation for each of those. I'm not sure if it's good that women know this either, because if they don't know, it's easier to spot the ones that aren't girlfriend material, ha ha!

I particularly dislike when women play hard to get. But I'd like to think that's something only immature women do.

Because then if you say something stupid its considered normal behaviour. And if you say something smart its considered extraordinary and you are praised for it.

But if you show yourself as being as smart as you are, say something dumb and you get put down for it, but if you say something smart there's no reaction. Because thats just you.

Men want to feel needed. Also they like to protect and a woman that doesn't seem to understand also needs some protection. This is more in the initial phase of attraction, some girls know this :) Perhaps this is beneth you but it isn't for others.

@BaileyisDarcy I can understand the not wanting to be put down for saying something that sound stupid to others. Since I have a learning disorder sometimes I have a harder time understanding others or what they mean. So I end up saying something that to them sounds extremely stupid. Which makes me feel bad and wanting them feel worse than me at that moment. Since it's not something I do due to lack of intelligence.

He doesn't. But that doesn't mean that that behaviour doesn't trigger attraction... damsel in distress, a mental erection so to speak that just happens. Women have been using this ploy for centuries because it works. It is a short ploy, just enough to get interest started.

I think many guys are oblivious to it as they get wrapped up in helping or explaining whatever it is that is being asked. Not sure why it made a top ten list though as it usually isn't obvious or a longlasting behaviour. .

One thing that drives me crazy is the constant mirror checking. Some will pull out a mirror every 20min seeing how their hair is doing, if they look okay... this has me rolling my eyes big time -- my boys say the same thing.

One thing I wish guys stopped doing: assuming we do everything for them. I've been bullied because I acted according to my high IQ, playing dumb just makes it easier to interact with people plus it's just fun to do. I do it for myself. Girls wear make up for themselves and for each other. In my experience guys gossip at least as much.
