You forgot the part where girls like guys just because other girls like him aswell, subconciously it adds to a girls attraction towards a guy, hence why rockstars/moviestars are so well preceived by women.
Besides that, this article is spot on.
I just hope people read this one before asking "should I be a jerk cause jerks get all the girls" type of questions.
Two things
1 sometimes women take kindness as weakness. I know plenty of guys that would take a mans head off for the sh*t they let their bitches (earnt term) say to them.
2 I know plenty of girls who shack up with the loser weed dealer at the end of the bar. or the dude that will slap a girl but is scared to even look at another guy.

Between historical, social, psychological and evolutionary points it's quite a ride! Unfortunately, most of it is bull! It's the cracked logic of a silly girl pretending to be a wise woman! Others have already pointed out multiple flaws. The Spartans were simply warlike people who made war and conquest their first priority! As for women today choosing superior genes, it's fallacy! An obnoxious bjerk with a loud mouth is NOT genetically superior!
This is a very well thought out article. Thanks for sharing and thanks for being so direct and to the point. I'll give it 5 stars. However, the only thing that I disagree with you on is when you said, "genetically superior men are much rarer than genetically superior women." That's just wrong! While the numbers of genetically superior men and women are equally proportioned, we see average women trying to move up the gene pool so many genetically desirable men lose out to the top stud.
"...genetically superior men are much rarer than genetically superior women..." Exactly how did you determine this? BTW, how does one quantify the concept "genetically superior." Put that in writing and you can book your flight to Stockholm.
Seriously, stop playing amateur geneticist/anthropologist/sociologist. You discredit yourself by making asinine comments like the above. Women are generally confusing as hell--even to themselves--so stop trying to explain the inexplicable.
And Economics. Remember that in Psychology or Anthropology there two factors that determine the person: Genetics and the Environment and to be honest you can't really relate us to the rest of the animal species, yes our primitive are still there but we have evolved much more than the rest of the rest of the animals, that is why we have cerebral cortex and other animals don't. Plus the education that a girl gets influences too much as well. Girls with a good caring father go for guys like that.
...why is he still single? Not every guy has the luck of growing up with a good father figure. Also not all girls go for guys that are good looking as well and that is because they make the same assumptions that guys make about good looking girls: He already has a girlfriend, he is a player, he is too good for me and so on, so they actually go for My Nice Guy, I have seen it many times. Mr Nice guys with Ms Nice girl. You explain the article well but it is tied too much to evolution...
I really like your article, you write very well by the way in a very organized and intelligent manner. But unfortunately I don't agree with you completely. You do seem to explain the genetic part perfectly, but you miss a huge part of the cake and that is the Environment. What I mean by that though is that women don't actually go for sexually attractive guys and I say this because I know a guy who is really good looking (no homo), 22, virgin and single. I mean he is sexually attractive to girls.
Sparta men had forced married with Sparta women. Helots, slaves, could choose to have sex with any helots. and the Perioikoi could have sex with any other city-state in Greece.
Sparta was one of the first city-states to die before all Greece fell. This is the worst example of Natural Selection I've seen. Most society, even ancient, the sex was only through social classes not Natural Selection.
The Perioikoi came from similar origins as the helots but occupied a somewhat different position in Spartan society. Although they did not enjoy full citizen-rights, they were free and not subjected to the same harsh treatment as the helots. They had there own women.
Spartan society didn't become great because of natural selection. It was by LAW and JUSTICE, if you want to call it that. Spartan women didn't have a choice in who they could marry. Sparta wasn't great they were extinct, none exist

Helots were originally free Greeks from the areas of Messenia and Lakonia whom the Spartans had defeated in battle and subsequently enslaved. They treated these guys like sh*t. They steal the women for wet nursing. The helots had sex with each other, not with the Spartans, for it would destroy the spartan blood.
I personally like this article. Relationship from an hormonal point of view, very interesting and sometimes a bit complicated. Congratulations for the article.
P.S.: For the people who found this insulting. Its true that a person looking only for looks and social position could be classified as a psychopath. However, you must take in consideration that. this selection process is occuring in your "Reptilian brain"(from the triune brain theory) , you could even call it subconscious
Interesting article and interesting debate between TimeAndTimeAgain and V0nDutch. I agree with both of you though. Even though we call ourselves humans and we say we evolved we are still animals deep inside... . What I don't like is when a girl complains about her own choice and put the blame on us when it comes to bad relationships...

LOL Care to cite your research on this? lol Women are so "genetically superior" that they spend billions every year on makeup, cosmetic surgery, and facial injections to obscure their actual looks. Take away makeup and cosmetic surgery and all girls would take a nosedive on the "superiority" scale.
Great article and completely true. It's amazing that these guys still don't get it. Just look at these comments! If there's anything I've learned in life, it's exactly what you stated above: lead and don't be a push over.
This might explain why older guys usual ignore older women.. and I myself might start doing the same, and if a girl I like is stupid enough to think that I would treat her the same way I'd treat everyone else around me, then I don't want her either..
"Balls" and attractiveness come in all sorts of forms. Trust me, any man who works hard in any trade/profession is attractive, driven, and most likely knows what he wants and gets it. A health professional is nothing to snort at.

You started off by telling a fairy story and then you continued with nothing but foolish drivel. This mytake is nothing but a bucket of pig slop. The fact is, western women, with the help of feminism and the government, have destroyed the family unit and poisoned love and commitment. The end result is a society of single mothers, fatherless children, high divorce rates, teenage pregnancies, and lots of sleeping around. Well done.
Let me sum up:
Women want men who are confident, a protector, give her love and support and a nice guy who is a push over, whimpy poetic crying emo kid who complains about his pee pee.
